Elegance meets southern charm in this gold, white, pink, and white South Tampa wedding-inspired shoot featuring a gold circular floral ceremony arch, gold-rimmed chargers and flatware, and modern three-tier wedding cake.

“We love a wedding with personality, which also means lots of extra touches and details went into the planning process. For this particular styled shoot, wanted to incorporate special rentals to enhance the ambiance and evoke a timeless, classic feel.” –Riley Gersch, Elegant Affairs by Design

“The theme of this shoot was ‘modern pride.’ Nothing says LGBTQ+ Pride more than rainbows, and we wanted to find a creative way to showcase all the colors. We added touches of black and white to bring in a modern feel to the organic florals. Going with a rainbow palette also allowed all the vendors to truly showcase their range of talent. As proud allies, we wanted anyone who came across the photos to understand how important inclusivity is.” – Stephany Perry, Stephany Perry Events

“Our wedding theme and design were boho style. We chose this because it is laid back yet can be sophisticated. We also incorporated some of our favorite colors with this style. We chose burnt orange, greens, and beiges because they are warm and inviting colors.” -The Bride

“Our wedding theme was a mix of botanical/garden and traditional. Since we were having a garden wedding, I wanted to incorporate vibrant, rich colors in our florals to contrast the greenery of the garden. We complimented those bright florals with traditional, gold, and minimalist décor. Our florals were bold fuchsias, orange tones like coral and peach, with a little burgundy. Bridesmaids wore forest green dresses which contrasted with the bold florals. Walking in to see our reception space before everyone entered was one of my favorite moments. I loved getting to see our wedding vision come to life. I definitely cried,” -The Bride

“I wanted to stick with classic and timeless colors such as black and white, and include brass accents within the palette for a modern touch,” A favorite element of this shoot was the emerald green lounge area from A Chair Affair. Adding lounge pieces around the dance floor welcomes guests to a mix and mingle’ atmosphere. This is a newer trend, and our vendors are here for it!” -Justyna Krasinka, Elegant Events

“I would describe our wedding as everything Florida, and classic old Florida, just like our venue. Gage’s family has a ranch in Sarasota with citrus, so we brought in the orange trees from the ranch and tied it to some southern chic design from my parent’s southern upbringing. We wanted natural earth tones, creams, whites, and greens with the pop of orange citrus from the ranch! I wanted things to look elegant.” -The Bride

“We got married in a botanical garden, so we needed a color scheme that would go well with lots of greenery. Our wedding theme was coastal rustic, think pops of blue with greenery everywhere. We kept the rest of the wedding simple and classic with white table cloths, gold place settings, and simple greenery for the centerpieces. My top three elements were: good food, good drinks, and a wild dance floor (I may or may not have done the worm in my wedding dress),” -The Bride

“Our color scheme included shades of pinks, purples, gold, and cream. They complimented perfectly! The theme was romantic and dreamy with lots of color and florals. We used the stained glass on the Ca’ d’Zan as inspiration for our color choice on the florals, and I wanted something that exuded romance with a bit of decadence and lots of flowers.” -The Bride

“I am more of a classic, modern, and minimalist. I knew from the get-go I didn’t want any color at the wedding with regard to the flowers and decorations; I wanted everything to be simple and elegant. My colors were black and white. I wanted a very clean classic look. We went with white flowers and greenery. The bridesmaids wore black, and our groomsmen stuck to the classic black and white suits.”

“All the small details really made it special. When you walked into the wedding space it was breathtaking. From the live wedding painter to the custom Wolfe neon sign. Everything was incredible. It was everything I could have dreamed of. The pandemic forced us to cut down our guest list which really was a blessing in disguise. The fact that we were surrounded by our closest family and friends truly made the evening perfect.”

“The overall style of the wedding really captured who we are. David and I love the outdoors, and we also really love breakfast, it’s our favorite meal. Originally, we were wanted to have an upscale breakfast buffet (omelet and pancake stations) with a bloody mary and mimosa bar however, due to the pandemic we weren’t able to do a buffet style. In the end, it all worked out. Our cocktail hour incorporated all breakfast foods and for dinner each dish has a hint of breakfast and/or brunch to it (i.e. shrimp and grits, bacon glazed chicken, and maple glazed steak.)” -The Bride

I love Moroccan colors. I’ve always been drawn to Moroccan-inspired designs and colors. We had lots of bright colors, pinks, oranges, green velvet, and gold.”

“At first, we were planning a big wedding with around 125 guests and then COVID happened. I am really happy we went with a smaller wedding. It was less stressful and just perfect. Go with your own comfort or your own vision. I think I conformed to what I thought I was supposed to have (which was a big wedding) but in the end, we both were happy we did a small intimate wedding.” -The Bride

“Our theme was dark and moody. We felt that it was appropriate for a fall/October wedding, and it goes with our personalities. We chose dark plums, black, and dark greens to bring in the moodiness, and to balance those we added lighter blush and pale pink colors. What made our wedding unique was that we incorporated everything that we love into it. From the food to the signature cocktail (a Tampa-Rita because we love this city so much), down to the desserts and the music, it was a celebration of us in every way,” the bride recalled.” -The Bride
