We were looking for a DJ who was enthusiastic and understood our vision. We wanted the ceremony and cocktail hour/dinner to have a more romantic feel, then transition to high energy and fun for the reception. We wanted to get everyone dancing and keep that energy going until the last song (mission accomplished!)

There is actually an overwhelming amount of music choices you have to make when it comes to planning a wedding, and when we met Chris from Tampa Bay DJ Company, we just felt at ease. We requested some must-play songs for the reception and otherwise trusted Chris to keep the party going. We spent the entire reception on the dance floor and had the best night dancing with our family and friends!

I wanted a wedding DJ who would be open to allowing me to make my own music selections, because the music was one of the most important aspects of the wedding to me. We hired Cory Barron, with Tampa Bay DJ Company because of the excellent communication he had.

Cory went above and beyond by having a phone call prior to the wedding to discuss what music we enjoyed and to ensure that he was able to access our curated Spotify playlists. Even on the day of the wedding, we were so surprised at how involved DJ Cory was with communicating with us and making sure we had water and drinks. He made the music flow effortlessly and kept the dance floor moving. One of the highlights of the night was when I got to go behind the DJ booth to live out my dream as a DJ! I have always loved music and can be found frequently acting as DJ at get-togethers, so much so that my friends have nicknamed me ‘DJ KWALT’. DJ Cory surprised us by illuminating DJ KWALT on the DJ booth and gave a shoutout for the music selections for the night that I so carefully picked out.

My husband and I are both big music lovers and love to dance, so it was important to us that our guests felt the same way and joined us on the dance floor to celebrate our wedding. We hired Cory with Tampa Bay DJ Company because he helped us create the perfect playlist for our guests. He also made sure our entrance video played just as we envisioned and perfectly timed our first dance to match the music we had chosen. His attention to detail and ability to set the tone for the celebration made the night unforgettable.

We were looking for someone who could completely own the party. We wanted a DJ who was personable, professional, and who mixed music. We did not want to feel like the music was a playlist on shuffle. On the introductory call we knew immediately he was the right choice because of how excited he was; his enthusiasm and ideas are infectious! We knew he loved doing his job and was going to make sure that our event ran smoothly and was a great party. We also used their extra services with lighting, CO2 bursts for the dip of our first dance, and fog bubbles for our exit. Cory made sure the lighting was the right vibe for the event and the most updated technology. These elements really elevated our wedding and made it even more memorable. Cory and his team were hardworking and innovative, and we knew our reception was in good hands with them!

We wanted someone with lots of experience, who knows how to keep a dance floor running. We met with Ivan from Tampa Bay DJ Company multiple times and his professionalism and knowledge is what sold us on his service. There was a very detailed questionnaire that I went through to ensure that we had all of the music choices and vibes for the night, and it turned out perfect.

Music was important to us, so we wanted a tenured, professional DJ. A friend of ours recommended DJ Cory Barrn, who owns Tampa Bay DJ Company. After speaking to him once, we knew he’d be a great fit. Cory did an amazing job as DJ and MC, and the lighting he provided was perfect. He went over the top and even threw in extra stuff for us, like the C02 gun, which was a fun surprise. A few of our guests told us it was the best music they’ve ever heard at a wedding, so that was a plus!
