Reviews from Marry Me Tampa Bay Couples

Marry Me Tampa Bay curates the below reviews from real couples whom we’ve personally interviewed. As Tampa Bay’s most trusted wedding planning resource, these reviews are 100% accurate and aren’t created by fake accounts.

  • While we love Tampa, the idea of a wedding away from the city really appealed to us. Legacy Lane Weddings was the perfect fit! We wanted a wedding venue that had both outdoor and indoor locations on their property, could easily accommodate 90 guests, had space for our wedding party to get ready on-site, and would be accessible and comfortable for guests of all ages.

We chose Legacy Lane Weddings because their property had everything we envisioned for our wedding venue. Located in Brooksville, its vast landscape and towering trees offered the old Florida charm and cozy atmosphere we were dreaming of! One of the highlights was the on-site accommodations for over 30 guests, allowing us to create a full weekend experience rather than just a one-day event. We loved the idea of filling the space with our family, making the weekend feel more intimate and meaningful. Since we all live in different places, time together is rare, and this made our wedding feel cozy and sentimental.

  • Our main priority when we first began looking for a venue was that it had to be big enough, and it also had to feel like it was a good fit for both of our personalities. Jason was born and raised in the South and knew that he wanted to do something a bit on the rustic side. I am from upstate New York; I love the southern atmosphere but am more drawn to vintage and classic things. A lot of the venues we researched online or toured were either very much suited to one or the other’s personality. We wanted it to be a place that both of us were over the moon about. We knew we wanted it to be somewhat rustic but not too rustic.

As soon as we turned onto the long driveway leading to the beautiful white house, I knew Legacy Lane Weddings was our place. The initial feeling was confirmed during the tour. It was beautifully rustic, with a reception barn and a gorgeous outdoor ceremony site. But the property as a whole felt as if you stepped back in time. I learned that not only was Legacy Lane Weddings a beautiful venue, but it was designed to be an entire wedding weekend getaway. We could have up to thirty of our closest friends and family members stay on the breathtaking property for the entire weekend. In addition, the venue included all the decorations as well as the day of coordinators. From the initial tour and booking of our date to the day of the wedding, Legacy Lane’s service was impeccable. They ensured that everything we possibly needed or wanted was taken care of. They beautifully executed my vision, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the entire team there.

  • My husband is a city boy, and I’m a bit more country, so I wanted a balance of both. Legacy Lane Weddings felt like a great balance between. We wanted something with a little bit of a rustic charm but more upscale. We loved the finished barn, the chandeliers in the pavilion, and the option for us and our family to stay on the beautiful grounds. Their grounds are stunning and every building on-site is so completely thought out with beautiful touches. We loved everything about it and the people running it.

They are so kind and thorough, especially Amber, who was our go-to woman. They even helped our tired and crying son make it down the aisle with gummy worms as a bribe to get him there. We loved Legacy Lane from the moment we saw their website. I also loved all of the Christian faith touches and that there were outdoor and indoor options that were all equally beautiful. I would choose it a thousand times over.

  • We wanted a wedding venue that would provide amazing photo opportunities, have areas for both the ceremony and reception at the same location, and be able to accommodate our guest count while still feeling intimate.

Legacy Lane Weddings is gorgeous and has such a grand feel as you’re driving up to the property. We loved having our immediate family and bridal party with us overnight after the rehearsal, allowing us extra time together. Having Amber, our venue coordinator, at every vendor meeting made us feel well-represented. She advocated for us and showed that she was well-invested in the entire process from beginning to end. Marianne and Amber kept us up to date with the décor process and asked our opinion on every detail. From the very start, they asked what our vision was and truly listened.

  • I wanted a wedding venue that had a rustic elegance ambiance that I loved as a blank canvas and that would fit a large number of guests.

We chose Legacy Lane Weddings because we fell in love with the venue the moment we drove onto the property. It literally took our breath away as a blank canvas.

The biggest bonus was the venue accommodating up to 40 overnight guests on the property for the entire weekend in the cutest cottages, which was perfect for our family and our wedding party. We were able to celebrate the entire weekend together, which is something no other venue we saw offered.

Their service at the venue was great too. They had everything organized and ready to go the moment we arrived for our wedding weekend, and I didn’t have to worry about anything, which is what every bride wants on her wedding day. They are family owned and operated, and they literally treat you like family during your stay.

  • We wanted a historic home, or historic-looking home, with a beautiful surrounding property. Quality time with our loved ones was really important to us, so we picked a venue that allowed our wedding party and close family members to stay on the property all weekend. We did not want to travel from a hotel to a ceremony to a reception venue; we wanted to be relaxed and stay in one place.

Legacy Lane Weddings was exactly what I envisioned for my dream wedding venue. It was the first and only wedding venue we toured. I teared up when we first pulled up to the property because it was so beautiful! Brooksville is close enough to Tampa for convenience purposes but far enough away that you feel like you are in a peaceful, rural oasis. Their service was great. During our wedding weekend, they truly made us feel welcome and at home.
