South Tampa is desired wedding location because of its warmth and charm that offers a familiar southern hospitality ambiance.
Riley Gersch, lead planner and owner of Elegant Affairs by Design, dreamt of creating a wedding inspiration shoot that showcased the timelessness of the historic Hyde Park neighborhood with a classic elegance that incorporated archetypal accents.
“Southern charm that evokes a classic and timeless feel was the inspiration for this styled shoot; it was a true dream to design, plan, and execute,” the wedding planner shared. “The color scheme was a combination of creamy whites, warm blush, and lush greenery – a classic wedding combination.”
To capture the essence of southern charm, the smallest of details were considered when designing the ceremony and reception, with a curated selection of decor from Kate Ryan Event Rentals elegantly intertwined into the design.
“We love a wedding with personality, which also means lots of extra touches and details went into the planning process,” Riley explained. “For this particular styled shoot, wanted to incorporate special rentals to enhance the ambiance and evoke a timeless, classic feel.”
“Our team went to work to pull together a selection of rentals to bring Riley’s vision to life. We selected a beautiful palette of golds, ivories, whites, soft greens, and just a touch of soft grey,” Kristin, the owner of Kate Ryan Event Rentals added. “We used our ivory dupioni table linen as the base for our feasting tables, gold-rimmed and hammered glass Alecia chargers for a delicate and antique flair, and gold-rimmed glassware and gold flatware reinforcing the classic and elegant look of the tabletop design.”
“We chose our new Louis Chairs to feature in this shoot as we felt they were a perfect pairing for the design and to show how beautiful they can work for any couple’s timeless ceremony design at the Orlo House,” Kristin explained. “We also featured our white regency bars and etageres that make such a beautiful statement, as well as function, in this incredible historic venue.”
The bride’s elegant up-do included a modern twist and a romantic makeup style by Adore Bridal Hair and Makeup complimented her natural beauty. FairyTail PetCare looked after the VIP (very important paws) guest between photos.
Tampa Bay Cake Company created a centerpiece dessert for the reception with a three-tier white fondant cake featuring an opulent magnolia crafted from edible sugar.
