Olivia and Dean’s intimate DOWNTOWN ST. PETE WEDDING combined their mutual love of art with chic white flora, lively music, and a menu that paid homage to their personalities and heritage. The pair hosted their 76 closest friends and family for an unforgettable weekend-long destination celebration.
“Our wedding was also essentially a destination wedding for most guests, so we were able to plan a whole weekend of activities, which made it memorable. We had an informal rehearsal dinner with drinks at Cassis and dinner at Fourth Street Shrimp Store (our favorite). On Friday, we had a beach day set up by the Cabana Club (featuring custom koozies that had a tagline ‘About Damn Time,’ which carried through many posts over the weekend) and a rooftop welcome dinner at The Hurricane. Then we hosted the wedding on Saturday night, followed by an afterparty at THE BIRCHWOOD Canopy rooftop, which gave us lots of incredible time to spend with all our guests at all our favorite places. We wanted them to experience our favorite parts of the Tampa Bay area.”

The Planner
“We cannot say enough positive things about COASTAL COORDINATING. We wanted a wedding planner with whom we meshed well, and who understood our vision, but also one who was willing to tell us if there was a better alternative to what we were thinking.
COASTAL COORDINATING kept us on track throughout the whole wedding process, and the day could not have been more amazing. We decided to plan our wedding in six months, and somehow they kept us running like a well-oiled machine, even with two unprecedented hurricanes and uncertainty about what would be open even a week before the wedding.” – The Bride

“Elite Events Catering consistently outperformed expectations across the board. They were there for us from walk-throughs to rentals, and honestly, just to pick their brain for ideas.”
“We liked the way Lifelong Photography Studios’ photos were edited. Some photographers felt overly edited with things being almost washed out, but Lifelong’s photos looked real and crisp.”

Jessie and Seth’s classic TAMPA WEDDING was elegant, warm, and filled with thoughtful personal touches. The couple focused on creating a day that felt true to them and centered around meaningful moments. With 90 guests in attendance, their emerald green, white, and champagne palette paired with lush florals created a timeless fall atmosphere, while details such as custom napkins featuring their dog Ginnie, his-and-hers signature drinks, and flip-flops for guests added personality. A sand ceremony with their mothers and private vows were among the most cherished parts of the day.
“I’ve always wanted a classic wedding. I love flowers and greenery, and knew I wanted my venue to be filled with that. My colors were emerald green, white, and champagne. It is classy yet a little different, and all three colors go so well together; it was stunning.”

The Planner
“I wanted a planner who I would get along with, who was well organized, and who would listen to what I liked and disliked. I also wanted someone who would come up with their own ideas and get creative with my vision. I’m not good at planning so I knew I needed someone who was able to take care of everything and make sure everything got done.
I was talking with my friend about my search for wedding planners, and she said her friend was one who ran WILDER MIND EVENTS! She raved about how organized Delaney Driver was and how dedicated she was to her career.
I then looked up WILDER MIND EVENTS, and I instantly was drawn into their website. It was fun and creative. I reached out to have a call and their response was prompt. I spoke with Delaney and loved how transparent and organized she was. She had tons of experience, which I liked. She showed me weddings she has done, and I loved her work. She was also local to the area and had tons of connections.”- The Bride

“Finding a photographer who meshed with my personality was a top priority for me. I really wanted someone friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely passionate about their job. I also wanted a photographer who matched the bright, romantic style I liked. In my first conversation with MARY ANNA PHOTOGRAPHY, I could tell Mary was genuine. She was easy to talk to and so easy-going. When she talked about her business, I could tell she really cared about her work and enjoyed working with couples. She works alongside her husband, and I thought that was so cool. I knew Mary was very talented from her sample photos, but when we got our engagement photos back, I was blown away. They were so stunning. I was nervous about looking awkward because I wasn’t used to being in front of a camera, but Mary gave us prompts and poses, which made it a fun, natural experience. She had only shot at our wedding venue once before, and I liked that because I felt she would bring a fresher perspective than someone who had photographed there many times.”
“When I told my wedding planner I wanted linen signage she directed me towards MADWOLFE DESIGNS. I looked at their work, and I saw quality products and good reviews. I loved how everything turned out, they made my vision come true!”
I hired ELITE EVENTS CATERING because I loved the food we tried during our tasting. They were flexible with items we wanted and could make changes where I wanted them. Their staff was attentive and polite. The food was great. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.”

Janel and George’s luxurious DOWNTOWN TAMPA WEDDING was an evening filled with chic decor, an abundance of white flora, and the sparkle of crystal chandeliers and romantic candlelight. The pair exchanged vows in a traditional church ceremony, before dining and dancing with over 400 treasured guests in an elegant ballroom reception.
“We both live in Tampa and have large families (hence the 450 guests) that are located in the Tampa area, so choosing to get married here was an easy decision! Cohesiveness was a huge factor for me throughout the planning process. I wanted to ensure a consistent flow in every aspect of my wedding. The design and seating arrangements had to make sense, and the schedule had to flow properly. I wanted my guests to feel like nothing was missed, because I spent a lot of time thinking it all through!”

The Venue
“Given the size of our wedding, our reception venue options were limited to only a few places, so of those options, I just looked for what ballroom gave me the most to work with. The most important factor was that I knew our guests would all fit in the ballroom at the HILTON TAMPA DOWNTOWN.
Their ballroom exuded a grand vibe. The chandeliers are beautiful, it looked modern and sleek, and when we visited, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, their services were excellent! They worked with us on so many of our specific requests.” – The Bride

“When I first looked into Lifelong Photography Studios, their photos struck me as classic and timeless, which was very important to me. After talking to Buffy, our lead photographer, I knew they were the best people for the job. She had shot weddings for people at my church before and was not shaken up by our needs. She understood the importance of certain moments in our ceremony, knew the demands of our guests, and was confident in her capabilities. She and her team absolutely delivered! They captured all the important shots, even through the massive crowds, were great hype people, and delivered beautiful pictures in a timely manner!”
“The Gelato Carte and coffee cart were an added personal touch, as my husband and I love both gelato and coffee! I was originally looking for a gelato cart, and when my planner showed me The Gelato Carte, and I saw that they also had a coffee cart, I was sold! Their carts are pretty, their flavors were delicious, and they did exactly what we needed them to do.”
“Because my wedding had so many cultural and traditional influences, I wanted to make sure I got a planner who understood the flow of the day, the specific rules, timeline, etc., so when they were communicating with vendors, it was all detailed and organized. Tammy from SPECIAL MOMENTS EVENT PLANNING had planned a couple of weddings for some family members and understood the cultural differences, traditions, and sheer size of our weddings, so she was the first person I called when I started planning. I could not have done what I did without Tammy. There were so many moving pieces that I would not have been able to keep track of without her. Finally walking into our venue as husband and wife, after almost a year and a half of planning, stressing, and trying to get everything organized, was probably the most memorable moment for us both. The weight and anxiety was lifted off my shoulders, and I could finally just enjoy the day I spent so long waiting for.”

Sam and Arron’s colorful downtown St. Pete wedding combined pastel hues straight from Florida’s iconic sunsets, along with whimsical details inspired by the bride’s favorite Taylor Swift album, for a unique and energetic evening surrounded by friends and family.
“We’re both laid-back people who crave color, warmth, and togetherness, so every choice had to feel inviting and not overwhelming. Long farm tables let all our favorite people share one big family-style BBQ meal, because community is everything to us.”

The Planner
“I didn’t grow up imagining my ‘dream wedding,’ so planning everything felt really overwhelming at times. I needed a planner who understood that, who could help me figure out what I actually wanted and take the pressure off. Delaney from WILDER MIND EVENTS was amazing! They were calm, thoughtful, and truly helped bring our day to life in a way that felt like us. She truly heard our vision and brought it to life better than I could have imagined. On the day of the wedding, I was honestly in awe of how everything came together. Her positive attitude and quirky self truly made the day fly by with ease. And she is a big helper in getting the dance floor going with her killer dance moves!” – The Groom

“Let’s face it, it’s 2025! The short-form videos are so fun to look back on and share. It gave us a behind-the-scenes perspective we’ll cherish forever. When we got to look back at everything the next day, it was so refreshing seeing all the moments we missed and seeing the day unfold from a different angle. Also, it was nice not having all our family and friends with their phones out, since we had a content creator doing that for them. We wouldn’t have chosen anyone else! Gabi felt like an extra friend at the wedding (Even though she and her husband are our friends). Gabi and BEHIND THE VOWS are truly a dream to work with. She is beyond kind, creative, and so in tune with what matters most when it comes to the wedding day.”

Channeling a saturated combination of jewel tones, this TAMPA BAY WEDDING styled shoot combined luxurious olive linens and greenery with vibrant eggplant and amethyst blooms for a moody garden party vibe. A private estate venue served as the backdrop for an outdoor Florida ceremony, while feasting tables nestled in front of an impressive fireplace created a cozy dinner reception.
“The perfect couple for this type of wedding is someone who has a vision of incorporating deep, rich colors into their design but is wary of having a wedding that doesn’t stand the test of time. This design brings a unique twist to a classic vision. When recreating this design, couples should take the venue itself into consideration. While I like to call this a moody garden party, the dark elements were offset by the light and airy nature of the venue. If a dark and moody venue is chosen, this design might blend into the background and not have the same effect.”

The Planner
“My inspiration for this shoot was truly just me wanting to work with a colorful palette. I found the beautiful velvet green linens and went from there.
This design was not heavily focused on current wedding trends but rather focusing on a beautiful design. I did, however, incorporate amaranthus into the florals as well as having a live calligrapher which are both trending in wedding designs and experiences.”

Maddie and Ryan’s monochromatic DOWNTOWN TAMPA WEDDING combined classic tones of black and white with minimalist decor and timeless flora for a chic and sophisticated atmosphere. The bride and groom exchanged vows in a renovated historic ballroom before dining and dancing the night away surrounded by family and friends.
“Our theme reflected our personal style—clean, refined, and elegant. We loved the idea of something clean and classic that would never go out of style, and something we could look back on years from now and still love. It also set the tone for a black-tie, more formal vibe, which felt special and elevated without being over-the-top. The contrast of black and white is so simple, but so striking. We wanted the day to feel really true to who we are, classic and a bit formal, but still personal and meaningful. The black-and-white, black-tie vibe matched our style perfectly: clean, timeless, and a little bit glam. We made sure every part of the day told a bit of our story and the love not only Ryan and I share, but the love from all of our family and friends as well. We also kept the ceremony meaningful but simple, focusing on the emotions and the people around us. We wanted people to feel like they were part of something special, not just a formal event.”

The Venue
“When looking for a venue, the most important thing was making sure that it would hold our guest count of 200+. We also knew that about 80% of our guests would be travelling, so we needed hotel accommodations to be nearby.
We specifically chose HOTEL FLOR because it is a one-stop shop. The hotel perfectly captured the classy, modern, and stylish vibe we were aiming for. The aesthetic worked beautifully with our black-and-white, black-tie theme, and the space just had this effortless charm that we instantly loved. On top of that, the location was super convenient for our guests, being that 80% were from out of town, it was so nice that our guests did not have to worry about transportation.” – The Bride

“We chose THE OLIVE TREE WEDDINGS because from the very first phone conversation, Amanda just got us. Her style was effortlessly cool, elevated, and modern, which is exactly what we were looking for. We could tell right away that Amanda was organized, professional, and totally on top of everything, but also fun, creative, and easy to talk to. We knew we could trust her to take our vision and bring it to life down to the smallest details. Their service was truly next-level. They handled everything with total calm, and made the planning process feel way less overwhelming. We honestly couldn’t imagine the day without them! Amanda was a huge part of what made it all come together so seamlessly!”

Meagan and Van’s DOWNTOWN TAMPA WEDDING combined a rainbow of colors through vibrant flora and linens, accented with the glitz of neon lighting and disco balls, for a whimsical atmosphere. The bride and groom exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony in a historic cathedral, before hosting their closest friends and family in an energetic reception along the city’s riverwalk.
“We really wanted our wedding to be a true reflection of who we are, from start to finish. A wedding should be full of life, excitement, and joy, so we chose a theme that felt as fun and colorful as we are.”

The Planner
“We wanted to find a wedding planner who was as fun and upbeat as we are. They would be with us on and organizing one of the most important days of our lives, so we needed someone who we could truly be comfortable with. They also needed to know how to balance the high energy with a sense of calm to ensure our day stayed fun and stress-free. We were also looking for someone who could take our concept and bring it to life with a clear plan. There were so many ways our theme could go wrong, and we needed a planner who was confident in their abilities to pull it off successfully and beautifully. Strong organization, attention to detail, and a high level of dedication to our wedding were also critical.” – The Bride

“During our initial meetings with Dewitt for Love, we really built a strong connection with them. They treated us like friends instead of clients and that made a huge difference. When it came to talking about the moments we wanted to capture, they guided us through everything and gave great advice. We didn’t want any formal or stiff pictures or really any in the more traditional sense. We wanted to capture moments that reflected our fun and quirky sides.”
“I met Café A la Carte at the Armature Works wedding expo. My mom had one sip and knew they had to be at the wedding! And of course, there were no objections from anyone. Café A la Carte was instrumental in keeping the guests’ energy levels high throughout the evening. We also had more than 20 kids at the wedding, and it was great to offer them drinks, like hot cocoa, so that the day would feel special for them as well. We received a lot of great feedback from the parents! They were quick and efficient, so we all were able to enjoy multiple cups without missing a single beat.”

Kenzie and Drew’s romantic, outdoor TAMPA WEDDING featured a rose gold, champagne, and white color palette with elegant florals and chic details at the waterfront venue, WESTSHORE YACHT CLUB. The bride and groom exchanged vows on the pool deck before celebrating under the stars with a lively reception complete with a monogrammed dance floor, cold sparklers, CO₂ cannon, and live painter capturing the night.
“We live in Tampa, and we met in Tampa, so it will always hold a special place in our hearts. Having a completely outdoor wedding on the water was very unique. We lucked out with the weather, and the fact that our venue survived a major hurricane the week before was amazing. We were just so thankful the wedding was able to happen after going through that,” the bride revealed. “Something that was very special to me was incorporating loved ones who had passed, especially my sister Stephanie. My bridesmaids actually wore the ‘Stephanie’ dress from Birdy Grey. It was a thoughtful way to include my sister on our special day. I also had a charm with her picture on my wedding bouquet, so she was right by my side.”

The Venue
“We really wanted a venue on the water as we both love the beach, sunsets, and palm trees. The WESTSHORE YACHT CLUB pool deck was a perfect location, and we were blessed with a gorgeous sunset on our wedding night. The venue itself was gorgeous, and it being on the water overlooking the bay was everything we wanted and more. Amy Winkleman Cole was so helpful from the start; we knew we could trust her to make our special day come to life. No questions asked! It was a perfect fit from the start. I researched numerous weddings on the Marry Me Tampa Bay site, particularly those that took place at WESTSHORE YACHT CLUB. The visuals and inspo were extremely helpful!” – The Bride

“I focused more on finding a videographer to capture our wedding video. I knew if they could do a great job with film, the pictures were going to be amazing as well! I researched many photographers and videographers and fell in love with J&S MEDIA‘s wedding films. I couldn’t get over the detail and energy they showcased in their previous work. It was an easy decision once I read the reviews! I also knew a few others who used them, and they all only had great things to say.”

Kristin and Charles’ DOWNTOWN TAMPA WEDDING was an elegant evening filled with pastel blooms and a floral motif inspired by the stately gardens of the French and English countryside. The bride and groom exchanged vows surrounded by natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows of their historic venue, before toasting with guests in an outdoor courtyard cocktail hour, and dancing the night away in a chic ballroom-style reception.
“Our wedding inspiration was a take on a modern, light and airy European chateau. I wanted a lot of florals for our wedding. I wanted the florals to be beautiful and romantic, and yet have a sense of whimsy and fun. As the planning took shape, my original vision for mostly white flowers with pops of pink transformed to incorporate more color to really make the venue pop. Our wedding colors were navy blue, muted sage green, coral, and peach. Our favorite colors are pink and blue and we felt like this palette nicely complemented the spring season and represented us at the same time.”

The Venue
“We wanted to find a venue that we could have both the ceremony and reception without requiring our guests to relocate. I wanted something that would be beautiful on its own—without distracting from the décor and florals I had envisioned. Plus, I wanted a venue that was set up to accommodate food and beverage, chairs, etc. as I didn’t want to have to research and coordinate all of these things separately.” – The Bride

“We wanted someone who was going to be fun and have a great read on the room. We had been to weddings where the DJ didn’t seem to pick up on the vibe of the room and when to keep songs going vs. move on to another. I researched several companies, read a ton of reviews, and kept seeing Keith’s name pop up. I had calls with other companies before, and as soon as we connected with Keith from EVENTS DONE RIGHT—we knew he was our DJ!”
THE GALA PHOTOBOOTH was a recommended vendor by THE VAULT, and they were wonderful to work with! We brought extra props and used theirs as well as their ivy backdrop, with a personalized ‘The Marvels’ neon sign we had made for the backdrop. The photos themselves were of great quality and so fun! They helped our guests put the guest book together beautifully and were great communicators throughout the process! Callie and Patrick’s DOWNTOWN ST. PETE WEDDING combined classic white roses and baby’s breath flora with neutral decor amidst a lush garden setting. The pair exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony surrounded by native blooms before dining and dancing under a clear tent adorned with bistro lights and romantic candlelight.
“We actually replanned the entire wedding in less than two weeks after our original venue was hit by hurricanes Helene and Milton! It was a miracle that it all came together and ended up even better than our original plan! We are so thankful for all of our local vendors who worked together to find a way to make our day happen. My mother-in-law even had funny cookies created to remember the chaos of the hurricanes!”

Channeling a neutral palette befitting the sleek interior of an art museum, this DOWNTOWN TAMPA WEDDING styled shoot married clean, minimalist details with classic elements for a blended design that felt appropriate for yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
“The theme of this shoot was MODERN romance – an elegant fusion of contemporary design and timeless love. When the Tampa Museum of Art and I partnered for this photoshoot, I wanted to ensure the design highlighted the museum’s striking architectural features. Its sleek lines, artistic ambiance, and sophisticated aesthetic provided the perfect backdrop to enhance the refined yet intimate vision we aimed to capture. The color palette was a monochromatic WHITE, chosen to create a timeless and sophisticated aesthetic. This allowed the museum’s architectural features and artwork to stand out while ensuring the brides remained the focal point. The simplicity of white also enhanced the elegance of the design, creating a refined and ethereal atmosphere.”

The Planner
“My inspiration stemmed not only from the venue itself but also from the table linens, which were the first design element I selected. They became the foundation for the overall aesthetic, guiding the direction of the shoot. By utilizing a monochromatic color palette, I was able to create depth and visual interest through textures and layering, resulting in a sophisticated and cohesive design.” – The Planner

Channeling a coastal color palette indicative of white sand, beachy coral, and shell pink, this waterfront SOUTH TAMPA WEDDING styled shoot embraced a seaside style including white-washed wood decor, fringed umbrellas, wicker details, and tropical fruit, for a celebrate as bright and sunny as the state of Florida.
“The key theme elements that I was going for were tropical, COASTAL, vibrant, whimsical, and textured. It’s always a delight to be able to create something unique for a styled shoot opportunity, and I wanted to create something that would inspire clients. In the Florida market, we see a lot of coastal and tropical weddings, so I wanted to put a fresh spin on that theme by bringing in pastel tones with lots of texture and whimsical elements. I chose hues of bright and soft PINKS, PEACH, lilac, and bright greens. So often we see weddings that are lacking color, simply because clients tend to favor ‘timeless’ or ‘classic’ elements. I really wanted to showcase that classic, luxurious elegance can exist right alongside vibrant tropical colors! When done correctly, a well-curated color palette can further enhance the theme.”

The Venue
“THE BAY CLUB AT WESTSHORE YACHT CLUB brought the classic luxury atmosphere of a yacht club, paired with gorgeous views, and blank slate spaces that allowed for the decor elements to shine. The beauty of the venue is that it can take on so many different themes due to its versatile nature, but the atmosphere of luxury remains the same!” – The Planner

“Just as with a real wedding, working with an amazing vendor team has the ability to make or break the day! As a planner, it is such a privilege to get to work with so many talented vendors from various areas of the industry!”
“When it comes to a floral heavy theme, choosing the right florist is everything. Not every florist specializes in every style, and not every florist has the same skill level. Drawing inspiration from the sunshine state, this whimsical MADEIRA BEACH WEDDING inspiration shoot featured a modern take on a TROPICAL motif, with bright pops of citrus colored flora and plenty of sparkle, from disco ball decor to a bubbly bar cart and champagne trolley send off.
“I would describe the vibes and theme as ‘TROPICAL Disco’. With many of our events occurring near the beach, the tropical theme is common for weddings, and I wanted to add a fun and playful element with the addition of the disco balls. I will never get tired of the disco ball trend! This theme was brought to life with details ranging from the ceiling installation to the small touches within the tablescapes,” Kristin Wright, Owner and Lead Event Planner at Just Wright Events shared. “I wanted to focus on bright hues that would offer a strong contrast with the tropical greens, opting for shades of PINK, purple, golden YELLOW, and small pops of white/neutrals. Bringing in the black dance floor to play off of the dark ceilings and wood elements created a strong contrast, which made the color palette pop even more!”

The Venue
“THE WEST EVENTS offers so much versatility and allows any couple to truly create their own space. Whether you decide to do a more traditional wedding/reception or a cocktail-style reception, either can work nicely in this space.
