What Inspired Us to Start Our Business
What’s crazy is that there isn’t one defining moment of me deciding to start Stelloccasions. After working in the events industry for close to 10 years, I feel like I was all of a sudden working with a graphic designer to create my brand and design my website!

Our biggest differentiator to other wedding planners is our ability to meet our couple where they’re at. Need an evening or weekend meeting with us? We got you. Prefer texting over emails? Text away. Want Stella to join us at our next meeting? That’s perfect because she always wants pets and to meet new friends.

Crysta is the founder of Stelloccasions, a name inspired by her loyal dog, Stella, and her passion for creating memorable events. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and began her career at a Fortune 500 insurance agency, where she gained experience in organizing a variety of events. Most recently, she served as the Events Manager at The Florida Aquarium in Tampa, overseeing guest activations and fundraising galas. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys country music, weightlifting, and nurturing her collection of houseplants. Her thoughtful approach and attention to detail ensure that every event she touches is both seamless and unforgettable.

Non-wedding Passions:
I LOVE houseplants! I have probably close to 200 houseplants…I’ve lost count at this point. It’s a labor of love but I love seeing them grow! I also love finding new dog-friendly restaurants and bars! Anywhere I can take Stella, I’m there. Bonus points if they have wi-fi so I can work!
