What Inspired Us to Start Our Business
I started washing dishes at an upscale French Restaurant in NY close to the Culinary Institute of America where I worked my way up through the ranks and fell in love with The Hospitality Industry. I decided to go to College in Florida at FSU and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Restaurant and Hospitality. I started my business 5 days after I graduated and it has been my passion ever since.
What Makes Our Business Stand Out
Our executive chef was a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in New York and has trained and worked abroad for over three years honing and mastering her skills. She surrounds herself with a team of amazing culinary and hospitality professionals and uses only the finest and freshest ingredients in their food preparations and recipes. Our cuisine not only tastes amazing but is presented beautifully as well, through creative fruit and vegetable carvings and garnishes.

Pricing for wedding menus starts in the low $20’s for complete packages (that even includes all the china, flatware, glassware, and linens).
I was raised in upstate NY in an Italian Irish family and music and food were a huge part of my childhood which got me very interested in pursuing a career in catering. After working in a restaurant as a dishwasher, busboy, sous chef, and head chef I moved to Florida to study Hospitality and Restaurant Management at FSU, and shortly after graduating I opened up a meat market and deli in Palm Harbor. I did a lot of catering out the back door and after 14 years I phased out the retail and focused exclusively on catering weddings and events, which truly was my passion. The retail and service of the meat market and deli business helped to develop a large following which allowed the catering business to grow very quickly in a short amount of time. Currently, I own and occupy a 10,000 square foot state of the art facility in Oldsmar where we are very centrally located to the Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater market. We are a preferred vendor and caterer at over 100 Reception sites in the Tampa Bay area and have earned countless awards in our industry. I surround myself with the very best employees in the hospitality industry and continue to strive to exceed our client’s expectations in an effort to always create a “wow’ factor, earning stellar reviews from our happy couples and individuals that put their trust in our amazing team!
One thing most couples would be surprised to know is:
When I was 11, 12, and 13 I won 1st Place for three years in a row as a NY Accordion Champion in my age division.
Non-wedding Passions:
I enjoy all things related to the water! I love scuba diving, snorkeling, boating, fishing, and every water sport imaginable. I also love being a father to my two amazing children.

We wanted everyone to have options, and Amici’s Catered Cuisine delivered with a fantastic menu.Their selection of butler-passed hors d’oeuvres was a huge hit, from parmesan garlic fries served in cones and mini BLT tartlets to Cajun chicken fingers on a stick and sesame noodle spoons. For dinner, we opted for a buffet featuring chicken parmesan and flank steak, both of which were delicious.
The service was phenomenal, and they were incredibly accommodating to guests with allergies and dietary restrictions. The bar service was also excellent, allowing us to customize the selection of seltzers and beers. Amici’s truly exceeded our expectations.

We wanted delicious options that wouldn’t taste like your typical wedding food. Choosing Amici’s Catered Cuisine came as another highly recommended vendor from our planner. We love Italian cuisine, and they really wowed us with their tasting! They were also very flexible and accommodating. We really customized our menu, and they did not miss a beat. Amici’s allowed us to upgrade a few items we really wanted included in our menu. We were getting rave reviews on our food for weeks to come as the selections were superb, and all the guests were full! Everything, including their timely service to our guests, was perfect.

Since a lot of our guests were traveling for our wedding, we wanted to make it a unique wedding experience where they felt pampered. To do this, we made sure our cocktails and food were high-end, and we put a lot of our budget towards accomplishing a spectacular dining experience. I wanted a caterer that had great reviews and could do a sit-down meal for our guests.
I chose Amici’s Catered Cuisine because their ratings were phenomenal, and they offered a package that included everything I needed. Our guests raved about the food! They loved the garlic Parmesan fries, and the meat was all cooked perfectly and full of flavor! I enjoyed the Mexican street corn, too! We got compliments about every item served at the wedding, from appetizers to desserts.

We wanted upscale service and excellent-quality food. My husband wanted a formal four-course menu with full service and no buffet tables. We had a classic sit-down dinner. Amici’s Catered Cuisine did an excellent job! Our menu included blue crab cakes, roasted pear salad, spinach and ricotta stuffed chicken, petit sirloin, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus bundles, a Viennese dessert table, and late night snack. Everything was delicious!
