Initially, we had chosen a different wedding venue, but before signing the contract, I had a gut feeling that it wasn’t the right place for us. It just didn’t feel like us. So, I quickly searched on Marry Me Tampa Bay for outdoor wedding venues in Tampa and stumbled upon Westshore Yacht Club. I had done hundreds of searches before and never seen the Westshore Yacht Club so it was truly a timely thing! I reached out to them, and we scheduled a tour that week. As soon as we set foot on the grounds, we knew this was the perfect wedding venue for us! We had envisioned an outdoor ceremony by the water, and it fulfilled everything we had dreamed of. I also wanted a venue that was naturally beautiful, requiring minimal additional decoration, and the Westshore Yacht Club was exactly that.

We selected the Westshore Yacht Club because it offered the perfect blend of Mediterranean and Florida-style ambiance. It has a natural beauty without us needing to do anything to it. Additionally, the on-site coordinator, Amy Winkleman, was an absolute delight to work with. Her kindness and professionalism kept me relaxed throughout the entire wedding planning journey. She was certainly a major factor in our decision to choose the Westshore Yacht Club. From coordination and planning to food and service, everything surpassed our expectations at this venue!

We wanted a gorgeous water view with fully outdoor elements. I wanted a unique space that allowed my guests to get out of town, that wasn’t a far drive. We wanted a little weekend getaway close to the water and to give our guests that true Florida experience, which totally was a gamble because of Florida’s weather, but it was the best decision we made! We also wanted a venue that was unique and one we had never heard of before. Westshore Yacht Club was absolutely unique, had some European vibes that I loved, a gorgeous water view, and in-house catering. I was obsessed, not to mention it is such an elegant space and really fit my vibe so well!

From the moment I walked into the space, I was truly blown away! The facility was so beautiful on the inside and even more gorgeous outside! I absolutely loved how they had in-house catering; this made it so easy. Amy Winkleman, the venue coordinator, was a dream to work with! I knew I would be taken good care of! From the gorgeous water view with sailboats and yachts to the staff and the gorgeous architectural elements that reminded us of Europe, we knew we had to get married there!

We wanted a venue that was intimate and beautiful on it’s own, without a lot of décor. Most importantly, it was key for Justin and I to stay within our determined budget. The beautiful marina and sunset views, along with easy planning process, led us to Westshore Yacht Club, and we couldn’t have been happier! In addition to the beautiful venue, the package that the Westshore Yacht Club offered included an incredible day of coordinator, Amy Winkleman. She kept us on track with planning and made sure everything ran smoothly on the big day. Our package also included delicious catering both throughout the day as we were getting ready, and for our guests at the reception. Our venue gave us a less stressful planning process and a beautiful ceremony and reception, all within our budget.

The Westshore Yacht Club was a perfect and gorgeous setting. We intentionally timed the ceremony so our guests at the cocktail hour were treated to a fabulous sunset. An added bonus were the dolphins passing by and the luxury yachts in the background.

We actually live in the Westshore Yacht Club, so to us, it was not just a venue, it is our home.  We spend most our weekends by the pool, watching sunsets over the marina, having dinner and drinks at the club and practicing yoga at the gym.  Ever since we met, I could picture myself walking down the aisle of the pool deck overlooking the yachts in the marina and seeing my husband looking back at me. We hold so many valuable memories here. We wanted to share this with our closest friends and family.

We chose the Westshore Yacht Club as our venue because I did not want a beach wedding, but rather an elegant and discreet location to tie the knot, and it was perfect.

The Westshore Yacht Club is the best-kept secret of South Tampa. We had the whole Bay Club to ourselves so it felt safe and private. Amy was absolutely amazing and very helpful throughout planning. Also, the food and service were great and a must when choosing the location.
