Madeline and Peter
“We aimed for a harmonious blend of springtime charm and floral elegance to create an enchanting atmosphere that celebrates the fresh feeling of spring. April is our favorite month, so we wanted to capture what this month feels like for our wedding. We picked white and green as our wedding colors as we love the classic wedding color palette and felt it is a timeless design.” -The Bride
Madeline and Peter’s elegant, destination Tampa wedding seamlessly blended classic romance with a fresh springtime aesthetic, lush florals, and a refined color palette.
“We aimed for a harmonious blend of springtime charm and floral elegance to create an enchanting atmosphere that celebrates the fresh feeling of spring,” the bride shared. “April is our favorite month, so we wanted to capture what this month feels like for our wedding. We picked white and green as our wedding colors as we love the classic wedding color palette and felt it is a timeless design.”
For the New England couple, Tampa was the perfect place to say “I do,” with both of their families calling the area home. Planning a wedding from a distance could have been challenging, but with Katy Martin from Coastal Coordinating guiding the way, every detail came together seamlessly.
“We live in Boston, Massachusetts, but both of our families live in the Tampa Bay area, so it was a clear choice for us to celebrate here. What made our wedding unique is we planned it all from afar in Boston. Thankfully, we had Katy and Coastal Coordinating on our side, which allowed us to have an effortless planning process,” the bride raved. “We wanted someone who would make the process seamless and fun! We were not sure about all the features that were needed to plan a wedding and wanted someone who could help us at every step of the way, which is why Coastal Coordinating was the best! We hired Coastal after speaking with Katy and realizing she was going to make the planning process exciting for us! She was on top of every single detail and always ensured we knew every aspect of the planning. She went above and beyond for us, which allowed us to truly enjoy the planning and the day itself. We would recommend Coastal Coordinating to anyone who is looking for help in planning their big day.”
The couple exchanged vows and celebrated their April reception at a historic South Tampa venue, rich in charm and elegance. To bring their Spring-inspired vision to life, Madeline and Peter thoughtfully curated every detail, selecting the Regency Bar, white etagere/bar back, Chiavari chairs with gold velvet cushions, ghost chairs, gold rim glasses, and capri brushed cutlery from Kate Ryan Event Rentals. The result was a beautifully styled event that perfectly captured the romance and vibrancy of the season, while the pair’s 70 guests enjoyed a dining experience that was both memorable and satisfying for all their guests.
“We wanted a catering company that had a diverse menu that would allow all guests to love their food and have different arrays of flavors,” the bride explained. “The items we chose were a mix of light and hearty to ensure we played to all palettes and that no one went home hungry. We chose Olympia Catering because Darren was great to work with and his team offered many different types of cuisines. He allowed us to be flexible and tailor our menu exactly to our liking. The food was incredible, and we still talk about how delicious everything was!”
Known for their outstanding reputation and ability to create an energetic atmosphere, Graingertainment ensured a night filled with nonstop dancing and unforgettable memories.
“We wanted a DJ who was able to get everyone out of their seats and on the dance floor,” the bride beamed. “Graingertainment was amazing, and all of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. There was a perfect mix of old and new music, which allowed everyone to have the best time. We all loved the music, and we danced the night away!”
Among the many magical moments of the day, two stood out as the most cherished.
“The most memorable moment was our private first look and private last dance,” the bride reminisced. “We were able to see each other and exchange vows before the ceremony, which was perfect and gave us a secluded moment to feel all the emotions. The private last dance was out of a fairytale as it gave us one last song together when all guests had left and a chance to celebrate a moment as newlyweds in our venue while dancing to our favorite song in an intimate moment. Both moments will be forever in our hearts.”

The Proposal:
Peter proposed while on vacation in Paris in April. It was a romantic, rainy evening that made for the most beautiful setting.
