What Inspired Us to Start Our Business
I have always wanted to have a business that can impact people’s lives. The wedding industry has given me the opportunity to do so. Delivering high-quality photos and cinematic videos to couples is what gives us daily satisfaction. We love seeing our couple’s dream weddings unfold right in front of them, and capturing every detail to be remembered for years to come!

We are very personable and work well with the other media on your wedding day. We hear over and over again how hard it is as a photographer to work with a videographer because you have two different people trying to capture the same shots a lot of time. Since we offer both, and most of us shoot both, we understand how to get the shots and not step on the toes of the photographer.

For photo and video, I knew that I wanted a very fine art style. I really wanted my photos to look like they were something out of a publication. I also wanted someone who I knew was great at capturing the emotion of the day on film, which can sometimes be difficult. I needed a team who could craft a story of the day through their lens.
Iyrus Weddings had been the photo and video team for one of my best friend’s weddings, and as soon as I saw their pictures and video, I knew that was who I wanted to go with. Will DeCosta is the most amazing, friendly photographer to work with. It instantly felt like we were friends from our first conversation, and I knew how important it would be for me to be comfortable around our photographer. I honestly would have moved my date around to make sure I could have Iyrus for my wedding!

We wanted someone who had worked a night-time wedding at NOVA, as we thought their bistro and wall lights could be weird depending on the photographers’ expertise and experience. We also looked for someone who we got along with because it is much easier to take engagement and wedding photos with someone who feels like a friend rather than a hired service. Iyrus Weddings did our engagement photos, and once we finished up our engagement session, I asked Will right then and there if he could shoot and film our wedding day. Will has a way of making you feel comfortable behind the camera and guiding you through the whole process. From his great personality to his amazing work, it was very easy to choose him as our photo and video vendor.
On the day of the wedding, he helped keep us on time. Will truly goes above and beyond to get the perfect shot and does it like it is second nature to him. He makes you feel like you are shooting for Vogue magazine. We felt like celebrities on our wedding day. His team of videographers and editors were on it, and we got our video and photos back in less than a month!
