Kristin and Charles’ downtown Tampa wedding was an elegant evening filled with pastel blooms and a floral motif inspired by the stately gardens of the French and English countryside. The bride and groom exchanged vows surrounded by natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows of their historic venue, before toasting with guests in an outdoor courtyard cocktail hour, and dancing the night away in a chic ballroom-style reception.
“Our wedding inspiration was a take on a modern, light and airy European chateau. I wanted a lot of florals for our wedding. I wanted the florals to be beautiful and romantic, and yet have a sense of whimsy and fun. As the planning took shape, my original vision for mostly white flowers with pops of pink transformed to incorporate more color to really make the venue pop. Our wedding colors were navy blue, muted sage green, coral, and peach. Our favorite colors are pink and blue and we felt like this palette nicely complemented the spring season and represented us at the same time.”

The Venue
“We wanted to find a venue that we could have both the ceremony and reception without requiring our guests to relocate. I wanted something that would be beautiful on its own—without distracting from the décor and florals I had envisioned. Plus, I wanted a venue that was set up to accommodate food and beverage, chairs, etc. as I didn’t want to have to research and coordinate all of these things separately.
When I came upon The Vault, I immediately fell in love with how bright and simple, yet gorgeous the space is! It was an already beautiful canvas that we could add to in order to personalize our wedding. I loved that it was mostly indoors (just because we all know Florida weather is finicky and can change quickly), and because of the large windows, it helped bring the outside in.”

“Monarch Events and Designs was recommended by our wedding planner and I’m so glad because Jean did an absolutely incredible job! I admittedly had very high expectations for flowers—since I grew up in a plant nursery, floral representation was very important! She understood what types of flowers I wanted to use, and that we wanted florals to look organic and flowy, romantic and yet whimsical with pops of color that complimented the venue and our tablescapes beautifully.
Jean somehow managed to exceed my super high expectations—I was truly blown away when I first saw my bridal bouquet and actually speechless (a rarity for me) when I saw the arch she created! They were absolute perfection and truly the florals of my dreams! I truly couldn’t have asked for anything better—she took our vision and elevated it beyond what we could have imagined! Our guests were just as in love with the florals as we were and we get comments to this day (over a year later) on how stunning they were!”

Elizabeth and Craig’s moody St. Pete wedding was a romantic blend of lush greenery, flickering candlelight, warm ambient lighting, and a rich 1920s-inspired design.
“The 1920s inspired our theme with a modern twist, incorporating elements that reflected both of our personalities. We were involved in every detail, and with so many meaningful touches, it’s hard to define our wedding with just one theme. Our love for Historic Uptown, which dates back to the 1920s, like our venue, made that era a natural source of inspiration. Another influence came when my husband began looking for tuxedos and realized he wanted something more unique than the standard groom’s look. We even referenced old family wedding photos from that time. For our colors, we chose olive green, black, gold, and a touch of white to complete the look. Color stories have always been deeply important to me, especially after working in the fashion industry as both a designer in New York City and in Color Development. Black, white, and gold were especially prominent in the 1920s, so incorporating them felt like a natural choice. When it came to selecting our primary color, I wanted something earthy that truly represented who we are. Olive green stood out as the perfect fit, inspired by our deep love of plants.”

The Venue
“My husband knew of NOVA 535, and I fell in love with it upon seeing it for the first time. We both love the open loft design and warehouse feel. Being in Florida, the ability to pivot last minute due to weather was crucial. NOVA 535 was everything we dreamed of in one venue.
The main building was built in the 1920s, and we loved that you can see the history in the brick walls. The bamboo garden outdoor space was also a major selling point. The attentiveness of the entire staff confirmed we had made the right choice. They went above and beyond, and our coordinator, April, was exceptionally courteous, helpful, caring, and stress relieving throughout the entire process.”

Kaley and Tyler’s colorful St. Pete Beach wedding was a vibrant soiree filled with beautiful blooms in tropical shades of dragonfruit, cherry, and lemon, accented with lush green foliage befitting the oceanfront location. Guests enjoyed an outdoor ceremony in the secluded courtyard before ascending to the luxurious ballroom for dining and dancing.
“Our wedding could be described as whimsical, airy, and romantic. The types of florals I wanted to incorporate would provide a whimsical vibe, which coupled perfectly with the airy setting of the beachfront resort,” the bride shared. “We chose pinks, peaches, oranges, and dark greens to complement the Don CeSar venue. I have always loved the whimsical floral look, but I wanted to add a homage to the tropical destination of St. Pete Beach by incorporating some dark green palm fronds into the florals.”

The Venue
“We wanted to choose a venue that was in Florida, as most of our friends and family reside here. Although I immediately knew it was the perfect venue to host our wedding, we wanted to keep their options open and toured a handful of venues. However, none of them seemed as perfect as The Don CeSar.
It was important to us to choose a venue that had lodging on-site and a location with activities for guests to enjoy during the wedding weekend. We wanted to have an outdoor ceremony near the beach, but not directly on the beach, so we opted for an outdoor cocktail hour under the string-lit beach pavilion, followed by an indoor ceremony in one of the gorgeous ballrooms overlooking the ocean.
The Don CeSar has always been my dream wedding venue! The service was fantastic, and their staff during the wedding itself were very hospitable and attentive. We could not have asked for a better experience.”

“I wanted a wedding planner who would be easy to contact throughout the planning process and one that understood my vision,” the bride detailed. “I liked the connection that I made with Lauren from MDP Events during our first phone consultation. I enjoyed the organization of our wedding plans that she offered as well.”
“There were so many memorable and unique details throughout Kaley and Tyler’s wedding day, but a few favorites stand out as especially magical,” the wedding planner gushed. “Their courtyard ceremony featured a stunning deconstructed floral arch by Flower Smith was an absolute showstopper. The vibrant mix of blush, peach, magenta, and pink blooms against lush dark greenery created a setting that felt like an exotic getaway right in the heart of St. Pete Beach.

Mandi and Mike’s classic St. Petersburg wedding embodied timeless sophistication, with a refined garden-inspired design, sweeping waterfront views, and a weekend full of meaningful celebration, all set against a backdrop of white and cream florals, lush greenery, and subtle gold accents.
“Some inspiring themes were modern elegant garden, timeless formal, and opulent elegance. I found a lot of design ideas on Pinterest based on the color palette and the feel I wanted. I love the beach, but I wanted a more formal spring vibe that still felt fun, not a typical beach-themed wedding. Our colors were white, creams, greens, and golds. I wanted a very timeless and sophisticated spring wedding, something I would look back on years from now and still love. The bridesmaids wore long eucalyptus-colored dresses, and the groomsmen wore black tuxedos.”

The Venue
“We chose Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club because we really wanted to get married in the city we lived in, and we felt it offered the best views of the water in the area after touring several venues. A lot of venues are by the water, but their ballrooms don’t maximize that, and we loved that Isla had a private beach for a more intimate ceremony with a walkway so guests didn’t get super sandy. They only host one wedding per day, were cost-effective while still feeling upscale, and were very accommodating to requests like champagne on the beach, custom drinks, a photo slideshow, and serving drinks during the walk to cocktail hour.
The food was great, they had someone assigned to our table to take care of us, and Melissa Rowjohn, the Director of Catering, was very easy to work with and worked well with our planner, which made the day run smoothly.”

Alyssa and Breaunna’s colorful, rainbow Lithia wedding unfolded on a warm April evening, blooming to life as their 120 guests were surrounded by pastel florals, neon accents, and vibrant rainbow-drenched pride décor. From champagne-pouring stilt walkers to fire dancers, casino tables, mini golf, and a silent-disco afterparty, the celebration unfolded like a personalized festival—perfect for two brides whose motto has always been ‘Let’s get it done.’
Pride flags accented the landscape, threading symbolic color through each space, while live music carried across the venue, culminating in their unforgettable first dance accompanied by a live saxophonist. The result was an immersive, high-energy celebration that reflected their personalities, their story, and their commitment to making sure no one was ever bored.
“Our guiding principle for the wedding was simple: we didn’t want anyone to be bored. Enchanted scenery, games, entertainment, mouth-watering food, the best drinks, and more, just for the best company! The dream was large: champagne dresses, people on stilts, silent disco afterparties, live music, casino games to win big, and more! Our love story has been built on travel, entertainment, and music festivals, and we wanted our loved ones to feel the magic we have been creating together ever since day one.”

The Planner
“We were looking for someone who could have us show up on our wedding day. Bre is a very big planner and plans everything in our relationship, from the trips we travel to the food we eat, and it was very important that we found someone who was able to orchestrate our big day with little to no help from us. It was such a stressful event to plan, and we wanted to do as much as we could, but all we wanted was to arrive at the venue with everything as we’d dreamed.
We hired Wilder Mind Events because of the unique weddings they have planned. We were looking for something less traditional: bright colors, crazy requests, and inclusiveness of the LGBTQ+ community.”

Grace and James’ elegant Clearwater wedding featured an abundance of lush flora in a plethora of soft, pastel hues to immerse their guests in a garden-inspired atmosphere. The pair exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony on a pristine waterfront lawn before dining and dancing in a luxurious ballroom reception.
“Our inspiration was a Bridgerton-style garden party, though James jokingly refers to the theme as simply ‘flowers.’ We wanted to embrace the spring season, leaning into color while still keeping things classic and timeless. The ceremony was held on the golf course, where the lush greens provided a perfect canvas for vibrant floral accents. The result was elegant but fun, traditional yet vibrant. Our palette featured soft dusty blue, paired with several shades of pink—bubblegum, salmon, and peach—with cheerful yellow accents. The goal was to create something eye-catching yet refined, perfectly suited to the spring season and our venue.”

The Florals
“Rather than choosing specific flower types, we focused on our color palette—baby blue, pinks, and peach—and let the florists guide the rest. That flexibility ensured nothing was compromised due to seasonality or availability. Even before our planner recommended Bruce Wayne Florals, we had already been admiring their work on Marry Me Tampa Bay and noted how frequently they collaborated with Parties A’ La Carte.
No other local florist stood out quite the way Bruce Wayne did. What impressed us most was how no two weddings looked the same, yet every design was consistently breathtaking. Their proposal and design board were incredibly thorough and professional, and the in-person mock-up felt like stepping into our wedding reception. Their team executed our vision flawlessly and thoughtfully repurposed our ceremony florals for the reception, adding both beauty and value.”

Drawing inspiration from the bright coastal colors and vibrant citrus of the Italian Amalfi Coast, this St. Pete Beach wedding styled shoot embraced mosaic patterns, opulent flora, and fresh, chic decor.
“The perfect couple for this type of wedding is one who may want the feel of a destination wedding or a couple who is into pops of colors, textures, and design,” Katy Turchich-Martin, Lead Planner at Coastal Coordinating advised. “The combination of modern and classic elements results in a charming and sophisticated ambiance, perfect for a stylish and memorable wedding.”

The Planner
“We were inspired to portray the Amalfi Coast in Italy and since so many want a destination wedding or a destination-feel we wanted to showcase that,” Katy shared. “Our colors were inspired by bright yellows to represent the fresh lemons, the white sands of Florida beaches, and shades of blue to represent the classic Amalfi aesthetic of the blue tiles.”

Tanya and Brian’s waterfront Sarasota wedding was a colorful celebration featuring tropical greenery, coastal details, and pops of coral and shell pink befitting the beautiful Florida beach setting.
“I wanted a beachy, coastal, boho vibe. We are both very laid back and love to be outdoors on the beach. Moving here from Chicago, we don’t think we’ll ever get sick of the coastal feels! We also wanted everyone to feel like they were in paradise. We chose pinks, corals, and greens. I wanted it to be warm and coastal. My planner actually helped me a lot with the color scheme. I loved having our ceremony palette be all green and then walking into a pop of color for the reception.”

The Planner
“I wanted someone who would listen to me and ensure my vision would be executed to the best of their ability. When I looked on Wilder Mind Events‘ Instagram, I knew immediately they were the one! With the work they’ve done, I knew they’d be able to understand my vision. Their service was exceptional! Anything I needed, they were there to ensure it got taken care of.”
“Some of my favorite details from the wedding day were the hanging lantern baskets and the coconut wall. The lanterns were such a unique touch, adding a beautiful sense of dimension to the outdoor space—something you don’t often see. I love incorporating suspended elements, and these lanterns gave off a perfect bohemian vibe without overwhelming the scene. I was also completely excited about the coconut wall. Not only was it visually stunning, but it featured custom etchings of their dogs and their wedding date/names, making it so personal. What made it even more special was the fact that the coconuts were non-alcoholic, making it an inclusive experience for everyone. Whether you were sober, pregnant, or a child, everyone had the chance to enjoy the fun. Guests could head to the bar for a shot of rum, and the bartenders would pour it in—such a clever and interactive detail that the guests absolutely loved!”
