A little-known secret about central Florida is that couples can find rolling hills with green acreages and lush lakes among the rural scenery of Dade City just north of Tampa Bay. The historic Florida city is also home to three distinct wedding venues, which Marry Me Tampa Bay and the Association of Bridal Consultants showcased during their “Wedding Venue Crawl.” Wedding photographer and videographer Iyrus Weddings captured the day with a cinematographic flair.
Each venue showcased its ceremony and reception layout, starting with Covington Farm, which teamed up with Save the Date Florida to create a stunning floral circle arch filled with greenery and white flowers. The all-inclusive wedding venue features multiple outdoor ceremony locations and an elegant white barn for up to 275 guests.
The next stop was historic downtown Dade City, home to Venue at the Block, which resides in a 100-year-old building. The industrial event space has been artfully restored and purposefully designed to host weddings and private events. The oversized warehouse windows fill the room with natural light, highlighting the exposed brick walls, peak rafter ceiling, modern concrete floors, and industrial chic interior.
The private outdoor lawn offers a lush turf lawn and is adjacent to the cocktail-hour covered patio which boasts a custom mural. Inside, the venue provides space for up to 200 guests.
The last stop on the tour was the sprawling estate of Simpson Lakes, Tampa Bay’s newest luxury rustic wedding venue located on 120-acres. The property features two different ceremony locations that both offer 360 panoramic views of the
gorgeous grounds.
The Oakside spot is complete with cobblestone tiles and glowing light posts, all under the canopy of sprawling oak trees draped in Spanish moss. The Lakeside spot is right between two lakes and features an organically shaped island outfitted with beautiful railing, cobblestone pavers, and lush landscaping.
The Grand Room boasts a neutral color palate and clean slate look complemented by extra-large windows along the East side of the building, which boast panoramic views of the property and seats up to 300 guests.
The property also offers the Honeymoon House for overnight accommodations.
