Green and Disco Glam Styled Shoot
J.C. Newman Cigar CO.
“We titled this shoot ‘Moody Green Disco Party.’ We chose a dark green theme to showcase our building in a way that it’s not often seen. While the exposed brick and earthy tones complement a light or bright event, it is also quite versatile. We went with shades of green, black, and silver. The colors complemented each other and created a mysterious vibe for the shoot. The green tones blend well with the brown, red, and ivory of the interior, while the disco balls created an element of whimsy and nostalgia.” -Tiffany Haas, Senior Event and Community Partnership Coordinator at JC Newman Cigar Co.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of Ybor City, this wedding inspiration shoot draws inspiration from the area’s rich culture and history, merging traditional elegance with modern flair. The collaboration of talented vendors brought together a stunning palette of deep and moody green tones, lush florals, and whimsical disco balls, creating a unique and playful atmosphere that feels both timeless and trendy.
“While we loved the finished product and final images, what truly made this shoot special was how seamlessly our vendor team worked together to make the shoot a success,” Tiffany Haas, Senior Event and Community Partnership Coordinator at JC Newman Cigar Co. revealed. “With Courtney Semler Photography and Palm Tree Content leading the creative direction of the shoot, we were able to create magic (just like the Zubricks from Zubrick Magic Theatre). Everyone who worked on this project was professional, kind, and excited to work with fellow creatives.”

Disco balls are all the rage right now, and we are here for it! The combo of vintage metals and earthy, natural greenery made an incredible statement that we built upon.
This shoot was inspired by the idea of a ‘midnight garden’ — dark, moody, and a little mysterious. We played with deep tones and rich textures like velvet, mixing in a touch of disco-era glamour. I wanted the images to feel lush and luxurious, but also intimate and a little magical, like stepping into a secret world at night.”

The Decor
“Gabro Event Services brought in gorgeous, luxurious rentals and linens that were both elegant and eye-catching. Their attention to detail and quality really helped tie the whole look together and made the space feel effortlessly chic.”
