Inspired by the warm colors of a sunset, this fall wedding shoot combines natural textures, bohemian blooms and décor, and whimsical styling reflective of the surrounding landscape of flora and fauna.
“We love setting trends and embracing colors and textures that aren’t often used together. We created this vision from a quote we had recently come across, ‘All You Need Is Love and Sunsets.’ The idea of love being warm and sunsets being absolutely beautiful inspired this look to come full circle,” Heather Tyler, owner and lead planner and designer of Blue Skies Weddings and Events shared. “The colors were chosen and inspired by a gorgeous fall terracotta sunset. It embodied all the colors you see in a perfect sunset sky.”
Located 20 minutes from downtown Tampa in Thonotosassa, the picturesque setting of Mision Lago Estate set the backdrop for the ‘Love and Sunsets’ theme with its naturally decorative setting, including stucco stone walls, verdant pastures, and towering oak trees.
“The warm and rich aesthetics of Mision Lago Estate, along with its stunning landscaping views and vineyard, created the perfect background for this event,” the planner beamed. “From someone who loves to travel, I wanted to bring warm inspiration to our Florida backyard. Mision Lago Estate makes you feel like you are stepping into a different country. Behind the gates of their entrance, we felt completely transformed into a stunning world away. It’s a perfect combination of Tuscany, the Mediterranean, and a little bit of California all at once. We wanted to embrace everything that is beautiful and unique about the stunning grounds.”
Rustic wood farm tables and benches were elevated with gold flatware provided by Gabro Event Services. Tablescapes were further accented with layers of billowy fabrics and organic floral arrangements to complete the look.
Bridesmaids donned chic satin dresses from Bella Bridesmaids in warm shades of rust and copper. The bride’s light and airy chiffon gown from Truly Forever Bridal featured delicate accents of lace that gave a nod to the romantic setting, while the stylists from Adore Bridal created a natural glam look and effortless hairstyling with loose curls and face-framing layers.
The ethereal styling and romantic details were perfectly captured by the skilled team at Lifelong Photography Studio. With seasoned experience and an eye for natural light photography, the team artfully preserved the warmth and energy of the celebration through their camera lenses.
With stunning details at every turn, from the cozy décor to the whimsical flora, the final result was a magical culmination of colors, textures, and overall energy.
“I loved all of the elements of this shoot! From the exquisite color palette of rich terracotta, warm cinnamon, and elegant mauves softened with subtle tones of soft shades of white and wheat, along with the variety of textures and dimensions, brought the look full circle,” the planner detailed. “The vineyard provided an exquisite background for our wedding ceremony with unconventional handmade wood bench seating wrapped with soft sheepskin cloth. The lanterns over our tablescape provided an enchanted look.”
