Rachel and Dylan
“Our wedding theme was timeless. I wanted the focus of our wedding to be on us and not a theme or a trend. We chose green, white, and gold for our colors because I wanted a very timeless look and a color that went well with having a late winter/early spring wedding.” -The Bride
Rachel and Dylan’s South Tampa wedding was an elegant evening filled with classic white flora, natural greenery and romantic candlelight. The couple exchanged vows in a traditional Jewish ceremony before hosting a chic ballroom reception and tented dance party at a waterfront yacht club.
“Our wedding theme was timeless. I wanted the focus of our wedding to be on us and not a theme or a trend,” the bride shared. “We chose green, white, and gold for our colors because I wanted a very timeless look and a color that went well with having a late winter/early spring wedding.”
The Utah couple sought the assistance of a seasoned wedding planner to help design their 160-guest February destination celebration. Karen Cerboni at EventFull Weddings impressed the bride and groom with her organization and attention to detail, allowing them to fully enjoy the wedding day experience.
“We were looking for a full-service planner for a reasonable price. Karen with EventFull Weddings was very detailed throughout the wedding planning process and was especially great on the day of our wedding to help things run smoothly,” Rachel beamed.
A floral chuppah from Save The Date Florida created a stunning backdrop for the ceremony, and later framed the four-tier wedding cake, while lush arrangements of timeless white roses and greenery towered atop gold pedestals, bringing height and visual interest to the ballroom. Lux furnishings, place settings, and table linens from Kate Ryan Event Rentals transformed the event spaces. Gold-rimmed glass chargers and gold flatware added sparkle to the dining tables, while stylish chairs and soft seating groupings set the scene for the ceremony, reception, and dance lounge.
“I wanted a timeless look with white roses and other florals. Our florist, Save the Date Florida, surprised us with a gorgeous combination of white florals that were classic, yet special and unique. Our planner recommended her, and we were very pleased with her communication and service,” the bride raved. “The flowers were exactly what we wanted ,and they were absolutely stunning.”
The pair prioritized family traditions during the planning process, incorporating a traditional and intimate Ketubah signing ceremony prior to their vow exchange.
“We wanted our wedding to be centered around our families, friends, and Jewish traditions,” Rachel revealed. “The Ketubah signing, a Jewish tradition where the couple signs the marriage agreement, felt extra special because I have actually never been to one before. It was special to have our rabbi, family, and close friends there with us for what felt like a more intimate ceremony before the actual ceremony.”
“Two things stand out as my favorites from Rachel and Dylan’s wedding day. First, the incredible mix of linens—we layered different fabrics and textures, some with sparkle, some without, and even included my personal favorite: velvet,” the wedding planner articulated. “Second, although rain moved the ceremony indoors, their stunning chuppah ended up serving triple duty. It wasn’t just a meaningful backdrop for their vows—it also added beauty to the ballroom and became a gorgeous focal point for their cake display.”
With a focus on their favorite people in attendance, the bride and groom hired The Gala Photobooth to capture the fun and love that was felt throughout the evening and provide keepsake photos for their guests.
“We chose The Gala Photobooth, which our guests loved,” the bride gushed. “Their website was easy to navigate and see what to exact for the final product. I would recommend them to anyone!”
Although the entire wedding was unforgettable, it was a surprise performance from the groom’s closest friends that left a lasting memory for all in attendance.
“The groomsmen did a Backstreet Boys dance to surprise my husband because they were his favorite growing up….we all loved it!” Rachel beamed.

The Proposal:
Dylan proposed at the botanical garden in Richmond, Virginia.

Where did you spend your honeymoon?
We chose Thailand because we wanted to explore a place we both had never been to. Thailand has it all there – rich culture, amazing food, city life, the jungle, and the beach. It’s extremely affordable there. Oh and can’t forget – the massages!
Where did you host your bachelorette party?
I chose Palm Beach, Florida for my bachelorette because my girlfriends love warm weather, and I have loved the area ever since my mom took me to Palm Beach for a Lilly Pulitzer show when I was in high school. She owned a Lilly Pulitzer store when I was growing up.

Which vendors really exceeded your expectations?
Our photographers Sarah & Ben really exceeded our expectations. They were very easy to work with before the wedding and completely understood the assignment throughout our wedding weekend. They went with the flow and were very efficient in getting all of the photos we wanted. They were prompt with communication right after the wedding, letting us know when to expect our photo highlights, full gallery, and wedding album. They got our highlights to us right away along with sharing photos through social media. She uses a good computer system that allowed me to provide edits/comments on our wedding album draft. I could go on and on about them. 11/10! I recommend hiring them for your wedding (or anything else for that matter)!
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Choose vendors that are willing to do what you want, not what they want!
