Bold colors are becoming the trendsetter in more weddings and one of the best Tampa Bay wedding venues for a modern celebration is Hyde House Public Studio.
To highlight the versatile South Tampa wedding venue, a talented group of vendors came together to create this vibrant, contemporary inspiration with a red, yellow, and blue color palette.
“The style of this shoot was ‘bold, bright and eclectic.’ We really wanted to come together and create something extremely unique and eye-catching. We used primary colors as the main inspiration, then added elegant details to make the colors pop without being too loud or overbearing,” wedding planner Alexa Brown of Piper Marie Events shared. “Our photographer Brittany, of Rad Red Creative was very inspired by hand-dyed panels suspended from an acrylic arch. She handmade the panels, and we centered the rest of the shoot around those pieces.”
To highlight the chic venue’s multiple event spaces, the ceremony took place in the Black Box auditorium which features raised and tiered wood seating surrounding the room. The custom large theater doors served as the perfect backdrop to the statement piece panels of multicolored fabrics which created dimension and texture.
“We wanted to use the beautiful spaces at Hyde House Public Studio to complement our design. The shoot leaned more toward a modern feel, so the clean lines and beautiful finishes at the venue were the perfect combinations,” Alexa beamed.
Embracing the industrial elements and modern architecture at the event space, this inspiration shoot showcased details befitting the venue, such as minimalist stationery pieces, stylish attire, and cascading flora and greenery. Place settings adorned with sleek glass chargers, matte black flatware, amber goblets, and chic gold chairs were provided courtesy of Kate Ryan Event Rentals.
“Curated pieces from Kate Ryan Event Rentals were used to create the tablescape. From the linens and flatware to chairs, it can all be rented to recreate the same unique, bold aesthetic,” the planner explained.
Modern couples can implement this wedding inspiration into their own special day by thinking outside the box and incorporating saturated hues for a fresh and bold vision.
“To achieve this look, couples will want to embrace color and not be afraid to make choices that may seem out of the ordinary,” the planner advised. “If you are looking for something unique, but don’t know how to accomplish it, definitely consult your vendor team.”
