FEATURING
Channeling the timeless elements of Italian style, this Brooksville wedding inspiration shoot combined abundant pastel flora with textures and warm wood details, resulting in a romantic outdoor event overlooking a verdant green landscape.
“We wanted to embrace the trending Italian-inspired aesthetics in our theme. Our color palette included dusty blue, ivory, white, blush, and peach, allowing us to explore a variety of color combinations,” Ashley Johnson, Owner and Event Planner at B. Eventful, shared. “The ideal couple for this aesthetic would embrace a blend of trending and classic designs. We balanced current wedding trends with classic elements by artfully mixing both. Our traditional tiered cake from Faba’s Sweetshop was enhanced with a trending bow, and our tablescape combined timeless gold flatware with stunning charger plates, while Save The Date Florida introduced Italian-inspired vases in the arrangements.”
With its sprawling landscape and European-inspired facade, La Hacienda at Snow Hill epitomized the Italian style that the planner envisioned. The plaster walls and stone fountain felt very Old World, while the rolling hills and mature trees evoked the Provencial countryside.
“La Hacienda at Snow Hill offered us a blank canvas, surrounded by unique and breathtaking views,” Ashley raved.
To add to the ambiance of the nature-filled outdoor estate, Florist Save The Date Florida selected pastel florals to complement the rentals from Oak and Ash Events and BBJ Tavola and greenery from Blended Family Foliage.
“Ashley at B. Eventful provided a vision board with an Italian Countryside vibe. I used this inspiration and ran with it, adding natural accents, such as acacia wood compotes, rattan-wrapped vases, and rattan/bamboo baskets and lanterns. I loved the little headdress statues tucked in as well. It all tied together with the color palette so nicely,” Danielle Zechmann, Owner of Save The Date Florida, added. “We used springy flowers in a color palette of pink, blue, white, green, and peach. My new favorite flower, Calendula, was used as well as roses, stock, larkspur, hydrangeas, lisianthus, delphinium, and tulips.”
The media teams of Mary Anna Photography, Chasing Light Productions, Behind The Vows content creation captured the romance and whimsy of the shoot through their artistic lenses, preserving each detail in a way that told a story through film and video. The mixture of traditional elements and unique touches offered a plethora of memorable moments.
“I loved how uniquely timeless this design was. It was the perfect blend of classic, timeless design elements with pops of unique textures and focal points. It featured a very classic wedding theme but had so many unique additions,” Mary Neiman, owner of Mary Anna Photography, articulated. “You don’t have to have a bold or exotic theme to have a memorable wedding. The dress was such a classic design but with the optional sleeves, stepped up the elegance. The flowers were such a timeless choice, but the rattan texture and unique vases added a subtle style that truly made this design stand out.”
The bride donned a stunning tulle ballgown with a lace-embroidered bodice and billowy sleeves from Truly Forever Bridal, while the artists at Adore Bridal created an elegant hair and makeup look of face-framing curls and a peachy makeup palette.
A team of talented vendors came together to ensure every detail was thoughtfully curated and executed, from the flora and greenery to the decor and table settings.
“We’re absolutely obsessed with many aspects of this styled shoot,” the planner gushed. “Our favorite details include the lush florals by Save the Date Florida, the stunning smilax from Blended Family Foliage, the gorgeous Louis Chairs from Oak & Ash Events, and the gorgeous linens by BBJ La Tavola. We believe that luxurious linens or napkins can elevate any wedding.”

What should couples know when it comes to photography regarding styled shoots versus real weddings?
Styled shoots have a more relaxed timeline than a wedding day. That allows me to capture tons of gorgeous couple portraits. If you want a large variety of portraits, I recommend considering having a first look on your wedding day. This adds so much more portrait time to a wedding day.
What are your favorite photos to capture for outdoor weddings?
I always encourage my couples to add a quick sunset portrait time to their reception timeline. We made sure to schedule this shoot around having time for sunset portraits, and it gave us such a gorgeous background. The sun is so soft and glowy during this time, the heat has dissipated, and couples generally are much more relaxed. A lot of my favorite wedding portraits come from these quick 15-minute sessions.
