Inspired by the moody depth of color of the season, this Brooksville wedding-styled shoot features saturated tones of red, champagne, and greenery, with touches of soft pink and glimmering gold for added dimension. Warm wood and lush linens paired with a whimsical lace gown create a romantic combination of textures.
“The theme was elegant fall season with lots of texture,” Amber Wahlberg, Director of Events at Legacy Lane Weddings shared. “We chose shades of burgundy, blush pink, and gold. The deep tones are perfect for the fall vibes with subtle touches of softer tones with an elegant touch. We were inspired by the rich texture of velvet. The luxe material added elegance to our vision, while the burgundy tone added a rich fall color to pull it all together.”
The classic white backdrop of the venue’s barn, along with the picturesque greenspace throughout, created the ideal backdrop and offered countless photo opportunities. The neutral setting allowed the shoot’s colors and details to really shine.
“Legacy Lane Weddings is an elegant venue that can work with many themes and visions. This vision brought elegance and charm to the venue while boasting some of the added features over the past year,” Amber beamed. “There are gorgeous outdoor locations for photos as well as gathering places for guests to enjoy during the wedding day. The all-white Reception Barn is light, bright, and airy, which makes for a beautiful dinner location and time of celebrations with loved ones.”
Limelight Photography expertly documented the celebration as it unfolded, balancing a collection of skillfully posed photos, detail shots, and candid images. Photographer Tara Zimmerman captured the celebration through her creative lens. She appreciated the variety of gorgeous photo opportunities throughout the estate and the convenience of the nearby locations, not to mention the whimsy of grazing wildlife nearby.
“Working with Amber at Legacy Lane was a dream. Amber is so kind and truly has a vision and love for the property!” the photographer gushed. “One of the really nice things about this venue is how close everything is! On a wedding day, we’re often running around hotels or resorts from ceremony sites to reception spaces, but at Legacy Lane, everything is close in proximity while still providing plenty of space to host in each area. The reception space was breathtaking, especially as it got darker and the romantic lighting stood out. The carport leading into the Barn was also a stunning photo opp spot, especially with a statement chandelier hanging from the ceiling. We have to mention the horses on the property. You don’t see horses at a wedding venue every day!”

Along with the other talented team of wedding pros, the vendor team worked together to create wedding inspiration that was as elegant as it was emotive.
The creative floral team at Save The Date Florida elevated the autumnal design by expanding the color palette through the use of a variety of wildflowers, along with adding unique elements like flora-accented chandeliers and a trendy blossom pocket-square as an alternative to a traditional boutonniere.
“I really wanted to showcase the venue with vibrant colors. I took their vision, added my own flair to it, and brought it to life,” Danielle Zechmann, owner and designer at Save the Date Florida revealed. “I used wildflowers such as snapdragons, thistle, mums, safari sunset, Astrantia, wax flower, and more. We wanted to replicate new trends, such as the groom’s pocket square, the meadow for the cake, and flowers tucked into the venue’s chandeliers to add that pop of color.”
When hosting a wedding at a private home estate with on-site accommodations, the couple can turn a wedding day into a wedding weekend. The time that would otherwise be used to commute between a getting-ready location and event venue can become additional time for portraits amongst the stunning backdrops.
“This wedding style is perfect for anyone who wants to have timeless elements with touches of unique and trending features while creating an overall elegant look for their wedding day,” the Venue Director detailed. “This particular wedding venue also has overnight accommodations, which allows for extra time with family and loved ones to create memories together, ideal for a couple who is looking for a weekend experience and not just a 6-hour event.”
“This venue is ideal for couples who are seeking a space that has it all on the property while still remaining private and secluded. When you drive up to the building, the first impression you have is grandiose, classy, and country luxury. Truly, the entire venue feels like a residence, so the atmosphere is much more relaxed while still retaining the glamorous and breathtaking qualities that you’d look for in a typical wedding venue,” Tara articulated. “It even has features that you wouldn’t often see in other venues. Having horses on the property makes the venue feel more whimsical, and it was also really sweet being able to interact with them and have some photo ops.”
