Amy and Hunter’s Tampa Heights wedding featured a traditional church ceremony followed by a romantic reception filled with lush greenery floral arrangements and romantic candlelight accented with warm wood tones and gold details, creating a timeless evening.

“The design inspiration was timeless, traditional, and classy. The colors were ivory, blush, and gold,” wedding planner Ashley Johnson of B Eventful shared. “The lighting, live band, and stunning details made this wedding unique.” 

The bride walked down to an aisle lined with lush garland and the soft glow of candles as the groom waited for her in front of a large wooden cross adorned with ivory and blush florals. Their 175 friends and family watched the couple vow their love for one another and God as their bridesmaids stood next to them in light champagne dresses and the groomsmen watched in classic tuxedoes.

“We found the décor of the ceremony particularly captivating, with the elegant drapery cascading from the ceiling beautifully complementing the exquisitely crafted cross, lovingly made by Amy’s father,” the wedding planner detailed.

“It was such a pleasure designing for this sweet couple. I love that their focus was on the actual marriage part of the wedding and showed their love for God throughout the whole day,” wedding florist Danielle Zechmann of Save the Date Florida beamed. “I especially loved the cross decor and the large aisle arrangements. It made such a statement!”

The bride achieved a soft, natural look with the help of wedding makeup and hair professionals at Femme Akoi Beauty Studio. Amy wore her hair in a low bun to showcase the delicate buttons cascading down the timeless strapless dress. The soft veil with intricate florals along the bottom completed the romantic look. The reception incorporated a mix of long and round intimate tables adorned with romantic candles scattered among floral arrangments created by Save the Date Florida that varied in size and lush green garland. Kate Ryan Event Rentals draped the tables in long blush tablecloths and matched the classic vibes with natural chairs and table settings.

“The strategic use of high-low centerpieces added dynamic layers to the venue, enhancing its depth and visual appeal. Our curated rentals further enriched the ambiance, particularly the rustic farm-style tables, elevating the overall aesthetic of the space,” the wedding planner detailed.

The room became full of life when the band took the stage, and the walls lit up with neon signs of Amy and Hunter’s initials accompanied by their new shared last name. The softly lit, romantic atmosphere was the perfect place for a dance party that ended with everyone grabbing an original Chick-fil-A sandwich to end the night in style! The Gala Photobooth caught all the laughter and fun as the dancing went well into the night.

The newlyweds aimed for a day surrounded by love and joy. The bride’s father stated in his speech to his daughter, “Amy kept telling me, ‘This is the day that all the people closest to me will be in one room.’ That is exactly what came true on the couple’s special day.”
