Noelia and Jared
Urban Stillhouse
“I wanted darker colors and a very romantic look. I’ve always loved candles and saw how beautiful weddings looked when they emphasized that kind of lighting, so it stayed with me. I’ve never been a huge flowers person, so I wanted to keep florals limited and make candles the centerpiece of the decor.
Our colors were emerald green with touches of burgundy. My engagement ring is an emerald, since it’s my favorite stone and color, which led the color palette. I love burgundy and the mix of those two colors, so that made the decision easy.”
-The Bride
Noelia and Jared’s moody St. Pete wedding brought together 75 guests for an October celebration. Inspired by a romantic aesthetic, the Florida bride and groom paired emerald green and burgundy accents with hundreds of candles, transforming the industrial venue into an intimate setting. Minimal florals allowed the warm glow and rich color palette to take center stage, creating the dramatic look they envisioned for their wedding day.
“We brought our personalities into the wedding by choosing details that genuinely reflect who we are as a couple,” the bride revealed. “We kept the vibe warm, relaxed, and family-oriented, and made choices that felt meaningful instead of performative. Our music, food, and ceremony style were all things we actually love in real life, so the whole day felt authentic and true to us. The food and desserts were most important. It’s what I remember most about weddings, so I wanted to make sure this was emphasized through food choices for everyone and that everything was plentiful.”

The Proposal
“We went to dinner near our home, and Jared proposed in Winter Park.”

The Bach Party & Honeymoon
“My friends hosted a weekend bachelorette. They booked an Airbnb and went to Urban Stillhouse for dinner before hitting bars in downtown St. Pete. It was from Friday to Sunday, and it was super quick and stress-free.
We chose Honolulu, Hawaii, for our honeymoon because we wanted a tropical place, and that’s just such a well-known honeymoon destination.”

From The Planner & Florist
“We understand that every couple’s vision for their wedding day is uniquely their own. For some, that vision centers around lush floral design, while for others, it’s the lighting, atmosphere, and overall ambiance that bring the celebration to life. Whatever the dream may be, we believe each one deserves thoughtful attention and care.
By working closely together across both our coordination and floral teams, we ensure every detail is executed seamlessly and intentionally to bring our couples’ visions to life. Working with Noelia and Jared was an absolute pleasure, and their wedding day was as joyful and effortless as it was beautiful.”

The Florals
Lemon Drops Weddings & Events
“I wanted someone who was okay with the minimal floral design I had in mind. I mostly wanted someone who was up to lighting hundreds of candles, which takes a long time!
I love that Lemon Drops Weddings & Events does wedding coordination and decor. I was communicating with one person about two very important things, which made it much easier to keep track of. Lemon Drops was so incredible and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone, because I was so afraid they would object to lighting so many candles, but they were up to the task and made the decor better than I even envisioned!”

Most Memorable Moment

“Everything about the day was memorable. Seeing our friends and family celebrate us was so much more emotional than we thought. It truly felt like one of the best days of our lives.”

The Photo Booth
The Gala Photobooth
“Even though we had an actual photographer, any wedding I’ve been to with a photo booth has been such a great memory. I wanted our guests to have their own little pics to take during the reception.
I loved The Gala Photobooth‘s black-and-white style of pics and the option for color digital images. They were so friendly and had great pricing, which is super important.”

Which vendors really exceeded your expectations?

What advice would you give to other St. Petersburg couples?
Try to do things that feel right for you! Trends are fun, and your wedding will always be set in a time with something identifiable. I wanted it to be timeless, but at the end of the day it’ll be timeless, even if those colors or decor were trending at the time. If you love it, do it!
