Channeling the timeless elegance of a bygone era, this romantic wedding inspiration shoot combined a soft pastel palette of peach and pink hues and an abundance of flora.
“The design focused on old-world elegance, soft romance, and lush florals. We chose this style to showcase high-end details,” Anna Taylor, planner at Taylored Affairs, shared. “We chose peach, blush, and gold accents as the colors because they’re romantic. They also work well with vintage pieces like candelabras, pianos, and classic architecture.”
The neoclassical design of Tarpon Springs wedding venue Whitehurst Gallery created an ideal backdrop for the styled event. The architectural details and luxurious furnishings set the tone for the old-world-inspired motif.
“I wanted a venue with columns and classic architecture, and Whitehurst Gallery was the perfect setting! It is a venue that is rich in classic architecture.” the planner articulated. “We made sure the florals, rentals, and design enhanced the venue’s natural beauty, while the serpentine table and fashion-forward attire gave the shoot a modern feel. The classic white architecture showcased the colorful flowers really well!”
A long S-shaped feasting table made a statement in the ornate space, offering a decorative focal point to the reception. For couples looking to recreate a similar look, the planner suggests incorporating an assortment of tables to achieve this unique layout.
“This design is for an elegant couple who wants a black tie evening and has a taste for luxurious and show-stopping elements,” the planner revealed. “This is a high-end style with a serpentine table as a focal table, but I would suggest using round tables or rectangular tables as the auxiliary tables.”
The creative flower designers at Marigold Floral Co. pulled out all the stops to showcase their talent through an immersive floral experience, from lush ceremony blooms to chic centerpieces.
“Marigold Flower Co. wanted to showcase a garden-inspired floral look that was lush and high-end. We incorporated concepts like a garden meadow, a full-scale ceremony, aisle liners, and a floral-focused tablescape. We wanted the flowers to be a wow factor for the day,” Anna detailed. “To achieve the lush garden feel, they incorporated flowers like roses, ranunculus, eremurus, and lots of seasonal foliage such as Italian ruscus, lemon leaf, and English ivy.”
Wedding photographers Bri & Bryce Photo & Film captured the details of the day, including personalized decor pieces.
“We used a stationer, Moxie Workshop, who customized menus and escort cards for the guests. The Wandering Whale customized a signature drink, while the stationer made a bar sign to showcase the recipe. Whitehurst Jewelry showcased some of their custom jewelry pieces like earrings, cufflinks, and rings,” the planner added.
Towering floral arrangements climbed alongside the stately columns of the estate, framing the staircase before the couple was whisked away in a vintage Rolls Royce courtesy of Classically Ever After. The setting made for a memorable setting and was one of the planner’s favorite decor pieces.
“The ceremony setup on the columns and stairs was a highlight of the day. I can imagine guests walking up with their jaws dropped. I also loved the bridal look and headband we chose for her hair. It was super chic and fresh,” the planner beamed.
