Isabel and Connor
St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church & The Vault
“The wedding was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and modern sophistication. It felt editorial and polished, but still full of warmth and romance. The couple chose a classic black and white palette with touches of mocha and gold. The colors photographed beautifully and added such a striking contrast against both The Vault’s dramatic interiors and the outdoor city portraits.” – Katelyn Prisco-Milligan, Katelyn Prisco Photography
Isabel and Connor’s classic downtown Tampa wedding was a timeless celebration adorned with neutral white flora, striking monochromatic decor, and chic mocha accents. The couple wed in a traditional church ceremony before hosting their friends and family at an elegant reception in an impressive, historic venue.

The Floral Design

Save The Date Florida
“We were so excited to do this wedding since the color palette included mocha, which is the Pantone color of the year. We designed the bridesmaids’ bouquets with playa Blanca and toffee roses. All the rest of the decor was classic, modern, and elegant with a variety of white flowers.” -Danielle Zechmann, Save the Date Florida Wedding and Event Floral Design

The Design
“The wedding was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and modern sophistication. It felt editorial and polished, but still full of warmth and romance. The couple chose a classic black and white palette with touches of mocha and gold. The colors photographed beautifully and added such a striking contrast against both The Vault’s dramatic interiors and the outdoor city portraits.
The couple’s attention to detail was remarkable — from the monogrammed napkins and personalized signage to the bold black and white dance floor and candlelit tablescape, everything felt cohesive and elevated.
What I loved most was how seamlessly the design reflected the couple’s personalities. They were joyful, present, and completely in the moment, which made every image feel authentic.
Overall, this wedding was a dream to capture — a celebration that balanced editorial sophistication with genuine love and connection.” – Katelyn Prisco-Milligan, Katelyn Prisco Photography

The Venue

The Vault
“The Vault was the perfect setting for this aesthetic: its dramatic architecture, marble floors, and gilded details created the ideal backdrop for a black and white palette with metallic highlights. The space itself felt editorial, which allowed every design element to shine. Later in the evening, sneaking out downtown for twirling and kissing portraits under the city lights gave us some of the most romantic, cinematic images of the night.” -Katelyn Prisco-Milligan, Katelyn Prisco Photography
“The Vault provided the gold flatware, glass chargers, linens, napkins, and chairs, all of which contributed to a cohesive, elevated tablescape that perfectly complemented the space and aesthetic.” -Riley Snider, Elegant Affairs by Design

The Inspiration
“The design inspiration centered around a timeless black and white aesthetic accented with touches of gold. We aimed for an editorial, Vogue-inspired feel; think clean lines, structured florals, and elevated simplicity that felt both modern and effortlessly chic.
While the couple didn’t incorporate traditional DIY projects, many elements were customized to reflect their refined vision, from personalized menus and monogrammed napkins to sleek signage that tied everything together.
To balance modern trends with classic elegance, we paired contemporary floral designs and bold black details with traditional touches like candlelight, crisp white linens, and soft gold accents. The result was a look that felt sophisticated yet inviting.” -Riley Snider, Elegant Affairs by Design

The Rentals
“Kate Ryan Event Rentals provided the black and white checkered dance floor along with select tables, which added a bold, modern statement to the overall design.”
