She was the most down-to-earth and genuine wedding planner I interviewed. Their services were outstanding. Riley was always so responsive; she always respectfully offered her opinion, helped me source vendors and negotiate on our behalf, and was such a great support throughout the whole process. I truly feel like I gained a friend.

We wanted a very outgoing planner that meshed well with our personalities. I wanted someone who was on top of things and very organized, as it’s easy for me to get off track when planning and during the big day. My mother was a huge part of the process and helped with every little detail alongside Riley from Elegant Affairs by Design. We honestly can’t thank either of them enough for making our day so special.

She was on top of everything, including making sure I was also getting things done in a timely fashion and communicating with all of my vendors so I didn’t need to. She brought two extra assistants on the big day, which helped tremendously. They made sure the groom and groomsmen were ready and where they needed to be. They directed guests, made sure vendors were on time and where they needed to be, along with making sure my mom felt like the mother of the bride and took so much stress away. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough; they were my saving grace on our big day.

A good attitude! We wanted a planner who was invested in our day as much as we were and could carry out our vision as if it were her own. Also, as much as we didn’t realize in the beginning, having a planner that is flexible and calming while planning a wedding during a global pandemic is vital.

We found our most important vendor on Marry Me Tampa Bay, Elegant Affairs by Design. Riley was wonderful; she endured the ups and downs and trials faced by COVID-19 by our side and acted as a calming force. Nearly a month before the wedding day, we found ourselves on the hunt for a new venue. Riley planned our wedding among a pandemic and kept us calm through the entire process, even when we separated from our original venue less than 30 days until the event and a week later when the caterer backed out, and especially as we were planning thousands of miles away.

Elegant Affairs by Design designed the most elegant and romantic affair that I could have ever imagined. Riley went above and beyond in every aspect and is the most patient, kind, smart, and fun professional and friend.

As someone who struggles with anxiety normally, I knew my wedding day was going to be stressful. I wanted a wedding planner to help ease that stress and have control over all the last-minute details so that I didn’t need to worry about logistics while also trying to enjoy the day. I wanted a detail-oriented person who I could trust, but also someone who I felt comfortable with, especially if I was feeling stressed.

When I met with Riley, the owner of Elegant Affairs by Design, I knew pretty quickly that she was exactly what I was looking for. She is down-to-earth and sweet as can be while also appearing so put together and capable. Even when chatting with her for the first time, it felt more like I was talking to a friend, and that was exactly what I needed. I knew my wedding would be in excellent hands and that she could see me through the final stages of planning. She was able to tie up all the loose ends and give me advice in the final weeks. She also exceeded my expectations by having a six months-out meeting with me to check on the progress of things, and I always felt that she stayed in the loop and was much more involved than in just the last month

Riley and Danyle had everything covered on the day of the wedding, and I felt completely confident that they would make sure everything went according to plan. They made sure I was able to have a stress-free day and had anything I might need. They even brought an emergency kit filled with every supply you could think of.

Five minutes into my first call with her I knew she would be my planner. She told me she was from Buffalo, N.Y., which is where my husband is from, and right there I told her, ‘I don’t need any time to think It over, you’re my planner! Riley and her team were fantastic to work with and made my wedding day a breeze.

Riley of Elegant Affairs by Design put our wedding together in just a few months which was simply amazing. She really made our day the success that it was!
