Channeling a blend of modern and feminine design, this wedding inspiration shoot featured romantic touches of pink and delicate bows, married together with modern minimalist elements such as exposed wood tables, lucite columns, and an unconventional mini dress.
“The style was intimate, romantic, and feminine. Intimate luxury allows couples to focus on personalization and meaningful guest experiences,” Helena Elizabeth, Owner and Lead Planner at Helena Elizabeth Events, shared. “We chose all soft pink hues as these colors are associated with sweetness, femininity, and romance.”
Capturing the style and emotion through a creative lens, Amber Yonker Photography used a mix of digital and film shots, adding a whimsical feeling to the portfolio of stunning imagery.
“Being part of this styled shoot was a delight! The bows, florals, and overall elegance were just magical. It was such a joy capturing those details that added so much charm and beauty to the day,” Amber Yonker, Owner and Lead Photographer at Amber Yonker Photography, beamed. “The elegant candles, meticulous attention to detail, and soft, delicate touches made it truly unique. It was heartwarming to capture those elements coming together, adding a touch of romance and sophistication that made the shoot truly special.”
Achieving a balance of classic-meets-modern can be a challenge, so the wedding planner suggests incorporating contemporary trends within the reception space through a repeated design element (in this case, a feminine bow) for a cohesive look.
“The reception is a great opportunity to incorporate trends, which we achieved flawlessly. Bows are in!” the planner articulated. “The details of bows could be found delicately on the menu card, napkin fold, bridal veil, shoes, and champagne tower, but it appeared boldly on the cake. By selecting a theme that paired perfectly with the femininity of a bow, we were able to create a seamless and cohesive design that still carried classic elements, such as light linens, minimal decor, and clean lines.”
The floral arrangements exuded romance through various shades of pink blooms, including mauve snapdragons, blush roses, and bubblegum tulips. Even the loose, unstructured greenery stems throughout the ceremony space created an airy, organic feel that echoed the wispy gossamer linens and delicate bow details.
“As a team, we collectively wanted to incorporate the new trend of bows,” florist Danielle Zechmann of Save the Date Florida detailed. “It was very ‘girly’ inspired throughout every detail.”
This stylistic touch can inject femininity and romance into any event and is on its way to becoming a classic wedding detail that can stand the test of time.
“This type of wedding would be perfect for a couple who wants to embrace a playful and timeless element into their wedding day,” Helena advises. “Bows are a chic embellishment and the must-have marker of youthful elegance for any bride. A lot of our brides start out as little girls wearing bows in their hair, and I think this is just becoming a classic detail, big or small.”
