If you’ve ever dreamed of a romantic destination wedding in a charming European locale, this Brooksville wedding inspiration shoot will have you in awe over the beauty of this nearby estate. Channeling the architectural detail of a Spanish-style home along with a romantic neutral color palette, this celebration will transport you to the historic towns of faraway destinations.
“The overall style was Europe-meets-Brooksville. The natural European feel of the venue was breathtaking, and I wanted to work off of that,” Amanda Biery, Lead Planner and owner of The Olive Tree Weddings, shared. “I wanted something versatile for the summer and spring season and worked off of the natural European feel of the venue. Garden/color themes are very popular right now. We incorporated blush and white with touches of orange. The venue is so naturally beautiful you didn’t need to do much to enhance the atmosphere. Some natural rental pieces with subtle color were the perfect balance for this shoot with the location.”
With its detailed exterior and sweeping views, La Hacienda at Snow Hill was an ideal setting for the styled shoot. The picturesque estate’s rolling hills, trickling fountain, and sprawling green space offer an immersive and intimate backdrop for any occasion. The reception was held on the Mediterranean-style 2,100-square-foot terrace, which features a checkerboard of travertine stone tiles accented with evergreen turf.
“It truly feels like you aren’t in Florida and you have been transported to Europe,” the planner gushed. “La Hacienda‘s beauty made it super easy to transform the spaces.
Inspired by the soft color palette and feminine lace gown, the hair and makeup experts at Femme Akoi Beauty Studio opted for a low chignon accented with a delicate braid and face-framing loose curls. Neutral nude tones echoed in both the eye palette and lip color created a natural look befitting the outdoor affair.
Couples who seek an escape from the typical event venues will appreciate this private estate, while the timeless garden-inspired elements would appeal to any couple.
“This type of wedding is ideal for someone looking to have a beautiful backdrop for their wedding and enjoy nature while being away from all the hustle and bustle of city life,” Amanda detailed. “The modern garden design elements are something that’s always in style.”
