Rebekah & Mina
St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Church & Tampa Marriott Water Street
“Our theme was a glamorous, romantic vibe; we wanted it to be representative of us. We’re both pretty bold personalities and love to have a good time, so we knew we wanted modern glam for the décor but party vibes with the entertainment. We chose my favorite color, pink, and Mina’s favorite color, green.” -The Bride
Rebekah and Mina’s glamorous downtown Tampa wedding combined vibrant shades of fuchsia and emerald green with luxurious gold accents and an abundance of flora. The bride and groom exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony before hosting their 300 closest friends and family in a chic urban ballroom reception.
“Our private first look was very intimate and just us. Mina said a heartfelt prayer he wrote for me before reading me his vows,” the bride shared when reminiscing about her favorite wedding day moments. “Additionally, I loved watching our same-day-edit video after dinner with all of our family and friends.”

The Proposal
“Mina proposed to me at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona, where I’m originally from. My family and I had just finished family photos, and they convinced me that we were heading to a family lunch. Lo and behold, when we arrived at the restaurant, Mina was waiting to walk me down a floral aisle to get on one knee and propose while all of our friends and family watched. After he popped the question and I said yes, we had a sweet and intimate lunch with all of our loved ones and spent the afternoon reminiscing on the moments leading up to the proposal.”

The Bach Party and Honeymoon
“We decided on Miami, FL for the bachelorette party. Despite living in Florida for almost a decade, I’d never visited Miami and had so many bucket list items I wanted to cross off my list. I also love car rides so it was so fun to have my sisters and friends fly into Tampa and drive down together.
We picked Aruba for our honeymoon because we wanted a nearby beach escape with lots of opportunities to explore the beautiful surroundings and go on excursions.”

Finding Wedding Inspiration
“I would often look at Marry Me Tampa Bay for inspiration and was glad to have it as a reference!”

The Planning

EventFull Weddings
“We wanted someone who offered full-planning services, but also a planner who could understand us from the start, keep us calm, and help us come up with innovative ideas and/or combine two completely polar opposite ideas into one that would represent both of us as a couple.
After interviewing 7-8 planners, I felt like Karen Cerboni at EventFull Weddings was a calming but encouraging presence and was exactly what we needed to plan our wedding festivities! We absolutely loved working with Karen, meeting with her once a month to plan at Captial One Café was a highlight for sure. She was amazing and absolutely the best to work with!”
“I had the absolute pleasure of working with Rebekah and Mina from our very first moments together through their unforgettable grand exit. Their energy and joy mirrored their bold, vibrant color palette, making the day as dynamic as it was beautiful. While every wedding has its own magic, there is something especially exciting about designing with bold colors.”

The Design
“Our theme was a glamorous, romantic vibe; we wanted it to be representative of us. We’re both pretty bold personalities and love to have a good time, so we knew we wanted modern glam for the décor but party vibes with the entertainment. We chose my favorite color, pink, and Mina’s favorite color, green.
Our wedding truly represented us through the colors, the décor, and the entertainment. We had large cherry blossom trees as centerpieces, Arab drummers for our entrance, and robot dancers to hype up the crowd. We also wanted to incorporate our love for scents by making a custom fragrance as our favor.”

The Decor
Kate Ryan Event Rentals & Over The Top Rentals Linens
“We loved the decor we rented from our team of vendors. Kate Ryan Event Rentals provided most of our reception decor, and they definitely brought in all of the small details to bring our vision to life!
Over the Top Rentals Linens provided some of our favorite linens we’ve ever seen!”

The Flowers
Save The Date Florida
“We wanted someone who could bring our floral dreams to life! Save The Date Florida was recommended to us by EventFull Weddings because she best aligned with our overall vision for floral arrangements. Mina loves bougainvillea because they’ve played a significant spiritual and symbolic meaning throughout his life, so being able to incorporate those into our floral arrangements was big for us!”

Which vendors really exceeded your expectations?
888 Productions, EventFull Weddings, Spark Wedding Events, and Karen’s Hora Loca created such a fun and seamless vibe, and all worked together. We also loved our same-day edit video played after dinner!
