Thonotosassa – Mision Lago Estate sits minutes away from downtown Tampa, providing an elegant and private waterfront experience for couples. The historic buildings and 20 acres of manicured landscaped property including vineyards, orchid nurseries, and a horse farm offer a picturesque experience for weddings.
There are seven different ceremony spaces, both indoor and outdoor options are available.
Monday- Thursday: $5,000
Friday and Sunday: $6,500
Micro Weddings of 45 people or less (not including Saturdays): $3,000
The Cocktail Hour:
There are several spaces available for a cocktail hour but our favorite is the vineyard in season.

Fabio Viviani’s Hospitality Team will do their best to provide your favorite menu at your budget request. We will work with outside catering companies, however, if we simply cannot meet your budget constraints.

For a wedding venue, we wanted something that did not need to have many outside decorations or rentals and that was outside with a traditional ballroom as well as multiple areas to celebrate in.
We chose Mision Lago Estate because of its beautiful grounds, carriage house, staff who were incredibly involved and helpful, as well as furniture included in the rental. The service was absolutely amazing, easy to work with, flexible and accommodating. Karin, the Director of Sales and Events at Mision Lago was beyond helpful, kind, and responsive.
One of our main focuses was ensuring our guests were comfortable and having a good time. We wanted a venue with a lot of indoor and outdoor space that allowed people to move around freely and a space with plenty of room to dance and beautiful natural scenery.
We chose our venue because of its sheer beauty and natural scenery. The moment we drove through the front gates, we were sold! It was breathtaking. Once we walked up to the vineyard at Mision Lago Estate, we knew that was where we wanted to have our ceremony! It was amazing from start to finish. Karin and her team helped us plan with our planner every step of the way. They were so welcoming and made us feel at home every time we visited the venue.
We looked for a venue that could hold our massive families. It was also enticing to have a venue that was different from the many weddings we had the pleasure of being guests at in the years leading up to our own.
We had our eyes and hearts set on Mision Lago Estate before the venue was even complete. It checked all the boxes for us. It is an enchanting property with so many beautiful touches that make the place feel so special. We especially loved the style it holds and the fact that it made you feel like you were in another country entirely!
The entire Mision Lago staff was amazing and had all hands on deck to pull off our special holiday wedding. We can't say enough great things about everyone at Mision Lago, and we will definitely not be strangers to the people and property.
We had a lot of boxes that needed to be checked which made it a little difficult to find a venue. We wanted a barn venue (with a/c) that was centrally located so our guests had plenty of options for hotels. Our puppy Gracie was our flower girl so we needed a place dog friendly. A full open bar was essential, and we wanted a place that would allow us to go past 10:00 p.m. and allow us to keep our stuff overnight so we didn’t need to clean up day-of.
We honestly chose Tampa because of Mision Lago Estate. It had everything we needed. All of our boxes were checked and then some we didn’t know existed! They truly went above and beyond. I did not have to worry about one aspect of our wedding. Karin, the Director of Sales and Events, exceeded my expectations in so many different ways; we felt like family afterward.
