Alyssa and Mike’s destination Madeira Beach wedding seamlessly blended the laid-back allure of the beach with the timeless elegance of bohemian chic. Embracing the natural beauty of their coastal surroundings, the bride and groom chose a serene color palette of dusty blue and sage green accented with elements of gold for their November wedding.
“We chose beachy and boho vibes because we wanted a very chill space and ambiance to enjoy with our favorite people. We are both very laid back and casual and wanted those same vibes for our wedding day,” the bride beamed. “Our wedding colors were dusty blue and sage green to match the ocean, and we incorporated elements of gold for some elegance and because it’s timeless. I stalked the Marry Me Tampa Bay Instagram for inspiration!”
The St. Louis couple envisioned a wedding venue that seamlessly merged a casual vibe and a private event space with character, which led them to The West Events. It also proved to be the ideal venue for the couple, given their shared fondness for Madeira Beach and the bride’s family’s residency in Florida.
“Finding the right venue that included indoor and outdoor space and being able to have a beach ceremony were the most important elements. My parents live in Florida and toured the venue for us and fell in love with the space and the people. We did a virtual tour, and we knew it was the perfect place for us,” the bride gushed. “We couldn’t be more thankful for The West Events team!”
The vows were exchanged against a backdrop of pristine white sands and azure waters before 100 attendees. After the ceremony, guests were treated to an industrial-chic indoor reception venue with a mid-century design with 15-foot ceilings and exposed beams. The combination of white linens, lush tropical greenery, and delicate white floral accents created a romantic atmosphere.
Each cherished moment was skillfully captured by Amber McWhorter Photography. The couple chose Amber to document their wedding day for her remarkable skill and exceptional ability to put them at ease, making the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.
“Amber was amazing and everything we could’ve hoped for and more. She truly made us feel so comfortable and captured our engagement and wedding day so beautifully! She has been such a pleasure to work with since the very beginning and has such a wide variety of services,” the bride raved. “I would 1000% hire her again and would recommend her to anyone!”
“Alyssa and Mike’s wedding was one that I will never forget! The two of them were just so sweet, calm, collected, and so excited on their wedding day. From the first look before the ceremony to the moment they said ‘I do,’ the emotions were there to be captured forever,” Amber McWhorter of Amber McWhorter Photography shared. “After the ceremony, we proceeded with the portraits, and Mother Nature blessed these two with the most perfect sunset. It was a wonderful way to wrap up the day before they attended their reception party time.”
From the breathtaking ceremony to the culmination of the event, laughter and joy filled the air as loved ones gathered to celebrate the couple’s love. Alyssa and Mike valued the ability to treasure these moments in the future and entrusted Priceless Studio Design to preserve every cherished memory on video.
“We hired Priceless Studio Design to capture those special moments so that we could relive them over and over again for many years to come,” the bride recalled. “They were a pleasure to work with and a joy to be around the day of the wedding!
Looking back, the pinnacle of joy was being surrounded by all their favorite people, coupled with the perfect Florida weather.
“The most memorable moment was being in our favorite place with all our favorite people and really soaking in every special moment together. Not to mention the weather was absolutely perfect! “the bride reminisced. “We loved every second and would do it all over again every year if we could!”
