Tiffany and Kyle
“In designing our wedding, we wanted to fully embrace the essence of spring. We achieved this through our choice of linens and florals, incorporating vibrant pops of color and native plants like palms for the centerpieces. Our wedding colors featured a beautiful palette of green, vibrant pops of orange, lavender, and ivory. We chose these hues to perfectly complement our spring theme.” -The Bride
Tiffany and Kyle’s waterfront downtown Tampa wedding embraced the season through the use of delicate blooms and greenery accented by soft hues of peach and dusty blue, overlooking the famed Riverwalk and city skyline.
“In designing our wedding, we wanted to fully embrace the essence of spring. We achieved this through our choice of linens and florals, incorporating vibrant pops of color and native plants like palms for the centerpieces,” the bride shared. “Our wedding colors featured a beautiful palette of green, vibrant pops of orange, lavender, and ivory. We chose these hues to perfectly complement our spring theme.”
The Tampa bride looked to Marry Me Tampa Bay throughout the planning process. The blog posts with images from real weddings inspired Tiffany, while the list of preferred wedding vendors allowed her to support local vendors.
“We discovered our wedding vendors through a variety of sources, primarily by exploring Instagram, wedding blogs like Marry Me Tampa Bay, and other online searches,” Tiffany detailed. “Since we wanted to keep things local, all of our vendors are based in the Tampa Bay Area, I turned to Marry Me Tampa Bay for inspiration, exploring previous weddings to gather ideas and ignite my creativity!”
The couple resides along the Hillsborough River and were instantly smitten with the location and views that their waterfront venue offered their 98 guests. The top priorities were to select a venue and photographer for their April celebration, and after their first meeting with Dewitt For Love Photography the pair knew they were the perfect choice.
“We chose Dewitt for Love Photography because we immediately connected with Shannon and Brandon during our first phone call. Their shooting style resonated with us, and we had such a great time during our engagement shoot that we couldn’t imagine working with anyone else!” the bride gushed.
“Our favorite elements from this wedding day (other than this amazing couple) was all of the incredibly hard work Tiffany put into designing so much of the details from the day!” Shannon Dewitt, Owner and Lead Photographer at Dewitt For Love Photography added. “All of the decorative elements made so much sense and were so different than designs and colors we’ve seen before, from the invitations, to the print on the napkins, to the overall vibe and funky yet simple, maximalist yet modern, wedding day!”
With a background in interior design, Tiffany understood the importance of elevating the space through the thoughtful use of color, texture, and curated decor elements. The vast inventory from Kate Ryan Event Rentals offered the perfect details for transforming the venue and bringing her vision to life. The decorative place settings created the perfect canvas for the gourmet meal provided by Olympia Catering.
“With the assistance of Kate Ryan Event Rentals, we transformed the River Center into our envisioned dream space,” Tiffany beamed. “We rented an array of items, including elegant table linens, glass chargers, gold Chiavari chairs, a striking black and white dance floor, pipe and drape, and even a bar for the patio area.”
The pair also incorporated their love of textiles and color to personalize their wedding through custom decor and statement attire.
“My passion for fabric and pattern inspired me to include hand-block printed napkins in our design. Custom-made in India, these napkins beautifully aligned with our theme and color palette,” Tiffany beamed. “My husband’s personality shone through with the bold green windowpane suit he chose, which beautifully enhanced the overall colors of our wedding.”
As an interactive element, the couple worked with The Gala Photobooth to offer printed and digital photo favors for their guests. Friends and family posed for pictures and left sweet messages for the bride and groom that will remain keepsakes for years to come.
“We decided to include a photobooth at our wedding as both an engaging activity for our guests and a unique signing book. Working with The Gala Photobooth was a delightful experience, and we cherish the album filled with memories, notes, and well-wishes from everyone who attended,” Tiffany raved.
The first dance will remain a treasured memory for Tiffany, but it was the hours of practice leading up to the big day that were truly memorable. The quality time spent together over those months were an unforgettable experience.
“I was eager to have a beautiful first dance, but unfortunately, I have two left feet! We signed up for dance lessons with Kristen from Dance Den Tampa, and what was meant to be just 10 lessons turned into nearly 30,” the bride revealed. “In the end, it became something I genuinely looked forward to each week leading up to the wedding. Those dedicated hours together were a special and fun experience for us both.”
