“Our inspiration was elegant, romantic, spring pastels, in touch with nature. We chose spring pastels: blush, dusty blue, sage, and rosemary. I wanted to really lean into the springtime aesthetic.”
“I really loved that we went to take photos in the actual museum with the artwork. This always inspires me,” Regina Rached of Regina As The Photographer beamed when recalling the highlights of the day. “The florals were my favorite detail. They were stunning, and there were so many! I also loved the bridesmaids’ dresses because they were different colors and matched the florals perfectly. The first look was so sweet, and I love that the bridesmaids watched from the trolley. And I can’t forget the cat cake toppers, too!”

“My wedding theme was an elegant garden party. I was not a girl who grew up fantasizing about her wedding day, so when I got engaged, I truly started from scratch. I was inspired by a social media influencer who I have followed for years, Brooklyn McKnight. I love greenery and the simplicity of white flowers. When I saw how her wedding came together on social media, I finally felt like I had connected to something. I modeled a lot of the elements of my wedding after hers, including the arch at the altar, a shade of green for bridesmaid’s dresses, and large groupings of florals. Our colors were champagne gold, sage to dark green, and white. I chose these colors because they fit with our spring wedding and brought simplicity to a grandiose aesthetic.”
“Some of the most important elements of our wedding day had to do with our ceremony venue. I chose a champagne gold floral arch placed at the altar since our wedding did not take place in a church. My husband and I are both Christians and wanted our ceremony space to be symbolic of the unity of marriage,” Rachel detailed. “Another element that was important to me was having a private space to pray with some of the most important women in my life before walking down the aisle. My venue dedicated the entire second floor of the estate as the bridal suite, giving us plenty of room to have those private moments before the start of the ceremony.”

“We either wanted a mountain wedding or a waterfront wedding. With the timing, we decided on Florida since Colorado’s weather would be unpredictable,” the bride shared. “We chose a variety of pinks and magentas based on colors from bougainvillea. I used to live in California, and one of my favorite plants was the bougainvillea, which I would see all around my neighborhood. I incorporated this into the decor and used it as inspiration for the bridesmaid dresses.”
“When it came to the selection of the venue spaces, Katie and Steve really wanted to create a memorable and enjoyable guest experience. The selection of ceremony, cocktail, and dinner reception came from the desire to be outdoors and the views for the guests to enjoy the Florida sunset,” Jessica Ralph, Owner and Lead Event Planner at Parties A La Carte revealed. “The ceremony took place on the tennis courts with a beautiful ocean backdrop. The couple was framed by a white arch accented with bright blooms of pinks and corals.”

“We wanted the moody but enchanted fairytale look on our wedding day. If you ask Pinterest, it is ‘dark academia,’” the bride revealed. “We played off the historic building while still adding elements and colors that would give us our moodier vibe. We picked jewel tones for the flowers, with a big emphasis on emerald green and gold. We looked for something unique that still matched our aesthetics.”
“We were in a unique situation where we did not want to be at a venue where we work every day; nothing about this day was supposed to embody our work lives, so we needed somewhere unique in this aspect. We also needed an option that would allow us to bring in our own caterer since the cuisine was so important to us,” Andrea explained. “We found J.C. Newman on Marry Me Tampa Bay. We loved the history of the J.C. Newman Cigar Co. building and knew it would tie in so well with my Cuban heritage. We wanted a building with an ambiance that stood on its own. We were not interested in a ballroom or special event venue but instead wanted something that would be as unique as our ideas for our big day. With the unpredictability of Florida weather, we wanted everything to be indoors. Having the different spaces on each floor really created a unique experience for each part of the day! We loved being able to provide cigars to our guests. We had lighter and darker cigar options, letting our guests pick between the light and dark side to play on our ‘May the Fourth’ wedding date.”

“We wanted to embrace the trending Italian-inspired aesthetics in our theme. Our color palette included dusty blue, ivory, white, blush, and peach, allowing us to explore a variety of color combinations,” Ashley Johnson, Owner and Event Planner at B. Eventful, shared. “The ideal couple for this aesthetic would embrace a blend of trending and classic designs. We balanced current wedding trends with classic elements by artfully mixing both. Our traditional tiered cake from Faba’s Sweetshop was enhanced with a trending bow, and our tablescape combined timeless gold flatware with stunning charger plates, while Save The Date Florida introduced Italian-inspired vases in the arrangements.”
With its sprawling landscape and European-inspired facade, La Hacienda at Snow Hill epitomized the Italian style that the planner envisioned. The plaster walls and stone fountain felt very Old World, while the rolling hills and mature trees evoked the Provencial countryside.
“La Hacienda at Snow Hill offered us a blank canvas, surrounded by unique and breathtaking views,” Ashley raved.

“The theme of our wedding was romantic, art deco, and modern chic. We wanted something that leaned into the February ‘month of love’ aesthetic while also incorporating modern design ideas. We really wanted something that reflected who we were, not only as individuals but also as a couple,” the bride beamed. “I chose a scale of pinks, reds, and maroons for our colors. I loved the idea of each bridesmaid and all the flowers being different colors, coming together to create a full spectrum that beautifully represents love. We were especially lucky to have our wedding in February, allowing us to embrace this vibrant concept fully.”
“Once we had narrowed it down to Tampa and decided on an indoor wedding, there really wasn’t any competition. I did not want to risk the special day being rained out, so it had to be a space that held up on its own without the beautiful Floridian backdrop. We chose The Vault because as soon as you walk up to those 1920 columns, you are fully transported into a historical Tampa landmark. It speaks for itself,” the bride gushed. “When you walk through the doors the first thing you see is the floor-to-ceiling windows as well as the original marble floors. The space on its own is simply breathtaking and in the back is the actual vault that the bank used way back in the day. Another main perk is that The Vault handles all of its food catering itself to ensure you have the best day possible. This made it easier to ensure top-of-the-line service. Everything about The Vault service was 10 out of 10 from the moment the day started until we closed the place down.”

“Our inspiration was eclectic vintage European. As a lover of color and vintage, I didn’t want to shy away from it, but I still love a timeless element. We did a variety of oranges, fall colors, purple, and neutrals. The purple and orange are our pops of eccentric dynamic,” the bride explained. “We wanted to get a little out of the city. It was our way of doing a destination-like wedding that was not a destination. We just loved the venue and how it looked European.”
“A unique and unconventional ceremony seating arrangement was one of the bride’s key desires. Copper River + Co meticulously considered the space and the angle of the dramatic entry point to create a floor plan that not only complemented the setting but also enhanced the overall experience. We designed an arched seating section at the top of the aisle, with slanted rows on both sides, creating a visually striking and intimate atmosphere,” Gabby detailed. “The Howey Mansion provided a stunning backdrop from various angles, adding to the charm. There was no better team than Kate Ryan Event Rentals to execute the setup of this unique concept. Given that the wedding party would remain seated during the ceremony, the bride wanted them to feel especially significant. To honor this, we reserved the arched seating section for family and the wedding party, ensuring they were highlighted and felt a part of the ceremony’s special moments.”

“The theme of the shoot is Modern Chinese. As the majority of our team members are of Asian descent, we’ve always been passionate about the representation of Asians, particularly East Asians, representation in the wedding community. There aren’t many references and examples of East Asian weddings translated into today’s wedding aesthetics and styles,” Jennifer Reed, owner and lead photographer of J&S Media Wedding Films and Photo shared. “The idea for this wedding-styled shoot stemmed from our desire to provide creative suggestions to culturally diverse couples wanting to blend their timeless wedding traditions with current wedding styles. This shoot specifically showcases modern-day aesthetics, such as dimensional floral arrangements, together with Chinese traditions, such as a tea ceremony, allowing couples to visualize the perfect fusion between the themes.”
“Red and gold are essential elements in traditional Chinese weddings. By introducing various hues of blush and beige, we’ve added more dimension and softness to the traditionally bold color palette,” the photographer explained. “We sourced inspiration from non-Asian weddings with shades of red and pink as their color scheme as well as traditional Asian weddings and the elements of their wedding aesthetic.”

“Since we decided on New Year’s Eve, we were shooting for an elegant Gatsby look, but we aren’t huge fans of themes, so our version of Gatsby was black tie, black and gold colors, and simple matching font. We think we nailed it,” the groom beamed. “We decided on black and gold colors because they were elegant and appropriate for a New Year’s wedding.”
The couple knew a downtown St. Pete wedding venue was the perfect representation of their love for Tampa Bay. The Wesley Chapel pair made sure their 142 loved ones experienced the best of their lives in Florida.
“We wanted to be near downtown Tampa or downtown St. Pete since so many guests were traveling into town,” Mike explained. “St. Pete was the perfect mix of beach, downtown, artsy, busy, but also quiet. The vibe there is what you make it and so there was so much to do in walking distance for our friends and family.”

“Our wedding design came from photos I saw online and some personal touches. I wanted a clean and classy look with a touch of whimsy since the wedding was outside,” the bride shared. “Our colors were white with a touch of sage green. I wanted all white because I love the clean look, and we already had the greenery of the wedding being outside, so we added a light touch of sage details.”
The ceremony and reception took place at a private, historic waterfront venue on Little Sarasota Bay. The ceremony was held on a lush lawn with a backdrop of majestic oak trees draped in Spanish moss and a panoramic view of the bay. The couple exchanged vows before 200 guests beneath a stunning Florida sunset. The outdoor reception was set under a large white tent with all-white linens and tall floral arrangements that perfectly complemented the place settings, accented by personalized oyster shells, a nod to the couple’s first meeting in New Orleans.
“My most favorite moment was everything! It was such an amazing wedding. Everything went right, and it was a blast,” the bride reminisced. “The decor was beautiful, we had great food, stunning floral arrangements, an amazing DJ, perfect weather, a beautiful sunset, and it was so much fun! Not to brag, but I had so many people tell me that was the most fun and beautiful wedding they had ever been to!”

“The design focused on old-world elegance, soft romance, and lush florals. We chose this style to showcase high-end details,” Anna Taylor, planner at Taylored Affairs, shared. “We chose peach, blush, and gold accents as the colors because they’re romantic. They also work well with vintage pieces like candelabras, pianos, and classic architecture.
The neoclassical design of Tarpon Springs wedding venue Whitehurst Gallery created an ideal backdrop for the styled event. The architectural details and luxurious furnishings set the tone for the old-world-inspired motif.
“I wanted a venue with columns and classic architecture, and Whitehurst Gallery was the perfect setting! It is a venue that is rich in classic architecture.” the planner articulated. “We made sure the florals, rentals, and design enhanced the venue’s natural beauty, while the serpentine table and fashion-forward attire gave the shoot a modern feel. The classic white architecture showcased the colorful flowers really well!”

“We wanted the wedding to be a combination of elegant, glamour and fun. The inspiration came from our many discussions between us and later with our wedding planners. They took our spirit and made our day memorable,” the bride shared. “We chose pink, dusty blue, and purple with a bit of sparkle. You can never have too much pink or sparkle, and blue is Jason’s favorite color.”
“We learned about Red Mesa Events from the Marry Me Tampa Bay website and toured the venue. We wanted a venue that could handle the ceremony and reception in the same venue without the transition between the ceremony and the reception being intrusive on the day. We also wanted it to be in downtown St. Petersburg,” Wendy shared. “We wanted an elegant space filled with flowers, sparkling crystals, and candles to create the illusion of a massive venue. We chose Red Mesa Events because the La Florida Ballroom and the rooftop bar were the perfect size for our party. Their event staff was brilliant and worked seamlessly with our wedding planners and vendors to create our event. The venue staff also provided creative input and suggestions to help us in our process. They were on hand at every stage of the planning process and made the day run without a hitch.”

“I have always loved classic and romantic movies, art, and design and wanted to showcase my love of simple elegance with modern flares. A few weddings that I was inspired by were John F. Kennedy and Jackie Bouvier, Kate Block and Kevin Love, and Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge,” the bride shared. “We chose black and white as our colors because I love neutrals and monochromatic schemes. My favorite color to wear is black, and my favorite color to decorate my home with is white…it just works!”
To honor their mutual faith, the bride and groom prioritized their May ceremony setting and looked for a beautiful, timeless space that also focused on the sanctity of marriage.
“We really wanted to get married in a little white church that fit our classic, romantic theme but also a place that shared our religious beliefs and values in which we could find community,” the bride articulated. “We really lucked out with Harborside Chapel and loved getting to know the congregation, Pastor Matt, and the staff that made the day feel so incredibly special.”

As a tribute to the colorful and funky vibes of the historic ‘cigar district,’ this Ybor City wedding inspiration shoot featured warm shades of rosy pinks, deep reds, and sunny marigold, paired with retro-inspired furnishings and bespoke details to transport guests into another era.
“The theme for this shoot is a mid-century retro inspiration. I absolutely love mid-century colors, design, and style trends, and wanted to design something that provided a step back in time with a modern vibe,” Heather Tyler, Lead Planner at Blue Skies Weddings and Events, shared. “A mid-century color palette offers an array of cheerful colors, providing an endless variety of gorgeous blooms to choose from. We embraced luscious yellows, blush pinks, an array of blue hues, pops of red and burgundy, subtle greenery, and organic wood elements as our key palette to create this colorful landscape.”

“The theme was a bright modern take on the Italian Renaissance. I chose it after falling in love with the Italian-style bust I found in HomeGoods,” Karen Cerboni, owner of EventFull Weddings, explained. “I love black, so I started with an all-white and black foundation and then added bold colors to the flowers. All black and white weddings are beautiful, but I’m a color lover.”
The ceremony took place on the historic venue’s third floor, offering stunning views of Ybor City’s brick-paved streets. The modern black ghost chairs from A Chair Affair intensified the setting’s drama.
“We are always watching trends and trying to do things a little differently to give guests a new experience. We staged the ceremony seating in a runway style and the wedding party table in a U-shaped rather than the traditional long rectangle,” Karen explained.

“This modern Great Gatsby Styled Shoot is a dazzling fusion of vintage glamour and present-day style, transporting you to an era of decadence and celebration. I love the high energy of this era. It combines a sense of fun and adventure with class and pizazz!” Cayla Collins, Lead Event Planner at Coastal Coordinating beamed. “The colors were black, gold, and white. I chose black and white to complement the new floor in the ballrooms while bringing in gold from the roaring 20s.”
The overall theme embraced the charm of the boutique property, Hotel Flor, a fixture on the National Register of Historic Places. Complementing the property’s ornate architecture, vintage era, and grand spaces, the inspiration shoot showcased the versatile event spaces.
“Hotel Flor has a speakeasy-inspired bar and lounge that has dim lighting, jazz music, and a selection of classic and unique cocktails,” the planner detailed. “It has glamorous ballrooms with high ceilings and the capacity for a sizable guest list. The spaces are beautiful and spacious, and you have the flexibility to be creative! It is a special and unique venue that aligns perfectly with the elegance and extravagance of a Great-Gatsby-themed wedding.”

“I would describe my wedding design inspiration as rustic elegance with a fairytale feeling. I wanted this to be a night to remember and have always wanted to have that elegant feeling without being too over the top,” the bride shared. “The colors were emerald green and mauve with hints of gold. I absolutely love these colors together and knew I wanted a darker color palette with having a wedding in December.”
“I wanted a venue that was secluded for a more intimate feeling and that had ‘old southern charm’ without having to travel out of state. We chose The Concession Golf Club because of how exquisite and beautiful the architecture of the country club was. It is also extremely quiet and secluded, which just makes it all the more magical,” Alison raved. “Concession had on-site housing for the bridal party, which was a major plus as well.
