“We wanted an elegant and modern wedding that would be timeless. We were very inspired by the iconic Sophia Richie wedding. Our main colors were black, white, sage, and cream. We chose this color scheme because it was very clean and timeless, and we felt it helped accentuate the venue rather than overpower its natural beauty,” the groom shared.” “We both come from different cultures and different religions, so our wedding was a clash of Greek/Polish festivities! Maria’s bridal party was also made up of her sister and four of her male best friends, which is considered unconventional. When she thought of her closest friends, who have always been there for us, these were the only people she could think of. We recommend everyone take this approach and do what’s meaningful to them rather than doing the norm.”
“Everyone who knows us would probably describe us as people who don’t take themselves too seriously and love to have a good time. We love and prioritize quality time with family and friends and wanted to throw a big party for everyone to enjoy! Our main focus for the day was to keep it as candid and organic as possible, with the focus being on facilitating meaningful quality time with our family and friends since it is so hard to bring everyone together these days,” the groom detailed. “With this in mind, right off the bat, we wanted to prioritize a big, fun reception with an amazing DJ (which we got!) and an unlimited bar. We incorporated fun props for the reception, including glow sticks and glasses, and hyped up an outfit change to keep the crowd going! For the sentimental parts of the day, we prioritized finding vendors who also enjoy storytelling in an organic way so that we could be truly present in those special moments and not feel like we had to accomplish a checklist on our wedding day. Thankfully, that is exactly how our day went, and we couldn’t be more grateful!”

“I wanted my wedding day to truly reflect my personality, so I chose hot pink as the central color. As a total girly girl, hot pink was the obvious choice for our wedding theme. My bridesmaids looked stunning in pink dresses accented with gold jewelry to match the other gold details throughout the event. I envisioned a day filled with bright, vibrant colors, and we infused hot pink into every detail!” the bride gushed. “We decided on a palette of hot pink, white, and black for our wedding colors. I wanted a bold pop of color, especially for our summer beach wedding. No matter the season, I would have chosen hot pink because it perfectly represents me and was exactly what I dreamed of for our special day.”

“Our wedding inspiration was classy, timeless, and minimalistic. I loved weddings with stark blacks and whites in the decor and was honestly afraid of adding any color to the mix. Luckily, our wonderful planner helped to grow and transform our vision into a reality that stayed beautiful and minimalistic while also introducing color. The more we played with color options, the more we became fascinated with all the different ways we could make this a classy, timeless event while brightening up the space with pops of muted color. We are obsessed with the color scheme and how everything turned out!” the bride beamed. “Our final colors for our wedding day were neutrals, taupe, blush, and terracotta, with the bridesmaids all in different shades of dark greens and the groomsmen wearing dark navy suits with dark green bow ties. Our focus for floral colors was white, terracotta, rose, and quicksand, with hints of green. Our table settings were truly the most fun and unique part of our decor, each type of table had different printed table linen, colored glassware and candles, and dark, modern silverware. These tablescapes brought the entire room together!”

“We would describe our wedding theme as rustic glam; imagine boho meets The Great Gatsby. We’re big fans of autumn color schemes with touches of gold and the Art Deco era of the early 1900s,” the bride detailed. “Our colors were rust, gold, ruby, emerald, and burnt orange. We wanted to offer variety and highlight the unique personalities of our bridal party. Instead of sticking with just a few colors, we aimed to use a vibrant palette that matched the energy we felt that day!”
“We wanted to really showcase who we are, make our guests feel loved, and bring together all of our favorite people into one space to get to know each other. We designed an enamel pin as a gift for our guests, had cakes overnighted from our favorite bakery in New York City (Milkbar), and arranged for the DJ and a string quartet to play a selection of our favorite music,” the bride recalled. “We wrapped up the night with a rooftop celebration at a karaoke bar, a nod to our weekly pastime during the first six months after we met. We wanted to be playful with our color palette to truly showcase our personalities. With guests flying in from three different continents and a sun shower that started and ended just in time for us to say ‘I do’ under a double rainbow, these moments made our wedding truly unique!”

“We wanted an elegant provincial style that was inspired by the venue. We used large wood farm tables paired with rose gold chairs. The enhanced table arrangements of white flowers and greenery were a romantic element that left my guests speechless,” the bride shared. “I went with all-white florals because it’s timeless and elegant.”
“We wanted to celebrate our marriage in the city we love most, Brooksville. La Hacienda on Snow Hill is one of the most unique venues in all of Florida. From the moment you turn into the estate, you feel like you are in a place of beauty and elegance. You are welcomed by massive, sprawling oaks and huge wooden doors past a lovely fountain. The lookout is, without a doubt, the most breathtaking view in the state. You feel like you are not in Florida but instead in the Italian countryside as you look down upon rolling hills,” Marissa beamed. “Everything about La Hacienda is welcoming and overflows with hospitality and charm. There is an exquisitely appointed bridal guest house steps away from the venue. There is also a groom’s guest house with four full-size bunk beds, a kitchen, and a den area, which is the ultimate men’s retreat. To top it off, the bride has a private bridal room and restroom to wait in before she makes her grand entrance. No detail has been omitted. Guests to La Hacienda come away with a truly unique experience that sets itself apart from the barn-type venues that are so common today. I don’t think there is another venue in the greater Tampa area that offers an acrylic dance floor over the pool! The owners, Jessica and Steve, are friendly, detailed, responsive, and easy to work with. I can’t say enough good things about La Hacienda.”

“I wanted the decor to complement the venue spaces and feel clean and modern. I love plants, so I wanted to include a lot of greenery wherever possible. The trellis wall was actually inspired by the atrium at one of our favorite restaurants,” the bride detailed. “Our color palette consisted of neutrals, greenery, and touches of gold. For the wedding party, we chose all black because we felt this looked flattering and timeless.”
“I wanted the vibes of a downtown wedding, and Tampa is meaningful to me since I’ve spent most of my life living near the city. We wanted a modern venue with a large ballroom to accommodate our guests and give enough space to dance. Hotel Haya was our favorite venue in terms of aesthetics. Stephen and I loved the unique personality of the hotel and were especially drawn to the modern yet classy ballroom,” Michelle beamed. “Having food included with the venue also appealed to us, as it made planning easy. We had a fantastic experience with the staff. Everyone was so accommodating, the service was professional, and everyone raved about the food!”

“We either wanted a mountain wedding or a waterfront wedding. With the timing, we decided on Florida since Colorado’s weather would be unpredictable,” the bride shared. “We chose a variety of pinks and magentas based on colors from bougainvillea. I used to live in California, and one of my favorite plants was the bougainvillea, which I would see all around my neighborhood. I incorporated this into the decor and used it as inspiration for the bridesmaid dresses.”
“I wanted someone who had a great portfolio and who we felt confident could bring our vision to life. We hired Parties A La Carte mainly because of their reputation, and we were very happy with the end result,” the bride gushed. “Jessica Ralph and the team did a great job on the day. Everything went off without a hitch. We felt like they really cared and worked hard to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams.”
“When it came to the selection of the venue spaces, Katie and Steve really wanted to create a memorable and enjoyable guest experience. The selection of ceremony, cocktail, and dinner reception came from the desire to be outdoors and the views for the guests to enjoy the Florida sunset,” Jessica Ralph, Owner and Lead Event Planner at Parties A La Carte revealed. “The ceremony took place on the tennis courts with a beautiful ocean backdrop. The couple was framed by a white arch accented with bright blooms of pinks and corals. Cocktail hour was adjacent to the ceremony, keeping the panoramic ocean views. The sailcloth reception tent was adorned with Italian ruscus greenery, floral accents, and an assortment of rattan chandeliers. Designed by MMD Events, this wedding was nothing short of spectacular. The inspiration bloomed from the beautiful yet bold hues of bougainvillea. Vibrant colors, boho accents, and patterned linens were used playfully throughout the design, creating a whimsical yet elegant style.”

“Our theme was traditional, with black, white, and hints of gold,” the bride shared. “We chose this combination because it can work for any season, day or night. It is also a perfect choice for a classic wedding.”
“My floral inspiration was traditional. I wanted beautiful white orchids and as much greenery as possible. Beneva Weddings has the best reputation in Sarasota. Everyone goes there to order flowers for any event, and I wanted them from the start,” the bride raved. “Corona was the flower wedding coordinator and had set up many meetings before the wedding. “We love to go on dates to botanical gardens and museums, so we wanted our wedding to have details that reminded us of those. We wanted a venue that was an estate on the water similar to Lake Como,” the bride detailed. “We chose bright florals with neutral everything else so the florals could pop without looking uncoordinated. They reflected our personality, and keeping everything else neutral but elevated also helped to keep everything formal but fun and lively.”
“Madison came to us wanting a classic romantic and luxurious sophisticated feel for her wedding day. She pulled her inspiration from Villa Balbiano and Chateau Bouffemont weddings. We worked together to detail her overall look by adding whimsy to her romance and a variety of tones and textures to the original palette of colors. Her tabletop compote arrangements, large U-shaped arch for the ceremony that then was repurposed around the cake, and the gold vintage candelabras added so much vibrancy, color, romance, and personality to the space!” Lauren Gertz, Lead Planner at MDP Events, added.
“Our friends know we are very extra, so we paid a lot of attention to details. We had custom drinkware for the bars, the guest names were foiled on their menus, and we had very bright florals to reflect our personalities,” the bride detailed. “Luran is Brazilian, so we chose a Brazilian barbecue caterer to grill onsite. The entire wedding felt very personal to us down to each and every detail.”

“The inspiration behind this magical day was my darling stepdaughter Louisa, who is four-years-old and absolutely obsessed with Barbie and weddings (we have Barbie weddings all the time). So, I knew we had to make this wedding extra special and super fun, just like us! We chose a resort that came complete with a giant inflatable slide because, let’s face it, no Barbie Dream House is complete without one! It was elegant yet playful, totally Barbie,” the bride gushed. “Our wedding colors were, naturally, pink, because what else could perfectly capture the spirit of Barbie chic?! Pink was everywhere, from soft blush tones to vibrant hot pink accents, setting the stage for an ultra-fun and glamorous vibe. To complement the Barbie dream, we added lush tropical florals and greenery to bring in those beachy, paradise vibes. It created the perfect balance between playful and elegant, giving the whole day that dreamy, tropical getaway feeling with a touch of Barbie flair!”
“We focused on finding a location that was not only beautiful but also family-friendly, especially for Louisa and all of our nieces and nephews. It was important to us that the venue offered fun and engaging elements for the kids to enjoy while still fitting the vibe we wanted for the day. Additionally, we needed a venue that was within driving distance to make it convenient for our family and friends. We made sure the venue was at an approachable price point, ensuring all of our guests could attend and celebrate with us without any added stress. The slide and the aquatic obstacle course at TradeWinds Resort were the main selling points,” the bride explained. “We treated our guests to a delectable seated dinner with options of fish, chicken, or filet, delicious choices for everyone! Plus, we had plenty of hors d’oeuvres to keep everyone satisfied throughout the evening. For drinks, we had the most fun and stylish signature cocktails. ‘Michael’s Marg’ was a spicy skinny margarita that added a kick to the celebration, while my signature drink, ‘Flora’s Flamingo,’ was a refreshing vodka grapefruit soda concoction. These cocktails were served with charming flamingo toppers, adding that Barbie’s Beach House’ touch to the festivities.”

“My sister, Kristin, did all of the custom watercolor artwork that we were able to incorporate into our design for the weekend,” Kali beamed. “She painted our crest, which was used on the printed materials and our circular bar, as well as the artwork of our dog on a golf cart, which appeared on cocktail napkins and bucket hats that we’re handed out during dancing, along with a map of the island for the invitations and welcome bags.”

“Our wedding design inspiration can be described as effortlessly elegant with a touch of rustic charm. We were inspired by our venue’s natural beauty and allure, which played a significant role in shaping our theme. The stunning backdrop and ambiance of Red Mesa Events provided the perfect aesthetics that resonated with our vision. We chose this theme as it perfectly complemented the venue’s existing charm, allowing us to enhance it without going overboard. The decision to keep it simple yet sophisticated was a testament to the venue’s inherent beauty, making it easy for us to create a cohesive and captivating atmosphere for our special day,” the bride beamed. “We chose terracotta and blue for our colors. “I’ve always loved vintage decor, so I wanted my wedding aesthetic to feel timeless, and J.C. Newman Cigar Co. was the perfect venue to bring that vision to life,” the bride beamed. “We chose white and green florals throughout and champagne-colored bridesmaid dresses to complete the timeless look.”
“Our design was inspired by a blend of romance, timeless elegance, and historical charm. We focused on incorporating candles and lush greenery to cultivate a serene and romantic atmosphere. Meaghan and I did a 3-hour virtual design planning session where we worked on the wedding’s design, layouts, and day-of flow. From there, I directed her to recommended vendors to help her bring her vision to life,” Ashley Johnson of B. Eventful added. “What I loved most about this wedding was the creative use of the spaces. I deeply appreciate the rich history and aesthetics of J.C. Newman, and we thoroughly enjoy collaborating with their talented team. We had the unique opportunity to be the first to transform the outdoor ceremony area into a stunning dinner setting. Dining under the stars was absolutely beautiful, and then transitioning indoors created a fresh vibe that perfectly complemented the lively atmosphere of the celebration.”

“I love black tie weddings; they take me back a little in time. If I could, I would have tried to thrown a Great Gabsy style wedding, but instead we decided to do black-tie optional, to give our guests the option to dress up to the nines if they wanted to. I mostly wanted to see my dad in a tuxedo, and I did, and I’m so happy to have those photos of me and him,” the bride beamed. “While engaged, we spent the summer in Colorado, during which time we fell in love with the wildflowers, so I decided I wanted a formal, classic, elegant wedding. We chose black and white, with a pop of yellow and greenery. I have slowly gravitated towards the color yellow during our time together, and I am also a big Coldplay fan. The song Yellow, our last dance song, will forever be one of my favorites.”
“The music and the dance floor were very important to us. Whenever we go to a wedding, we spend the majority of the night there and that is what we did at our own wedding too,” Veronica revealed. “I wanted something grand over the dance floor, which became a challenge but my wedding planner was able to figure something out at the end that turned out perfect; disco balls and a black and white checkered floor.”
“Once the party really kicked off, the couple had us bring them their blown up cows to the dance floor. While definitely one of the most interesting wedding accessories we’ve ever been provided, they were such a big hit. The photos were amazing!” Staci Mandikas of UNIQUE Weddings + Events beamed. “The cluster of disco balls mounted over the black and white dance floor was the perfect way to define the dancing area. It really turned the neutral Tampa River Center into a true party destination. That dance floor was full all night long!”
