Inspired by a whimsical wedding vision, this styled wedding shoot set at Tampa Bay’s newest nature-filled venue will conjure dreams of soft pastel hues and lush flora amidst a verdant garden. This hidden gem venue offers expansive grounds surrounded by mature forestry and equestrian stables, perfect for an intimate celebration that transports guests away from the typical city ballrooms and into an enchanted woodland.
“For this shoot, we wanted to create a garden whimsical editorial,” Terrie Nelson, photographer and owner of Terrie Images shared. “We knew Mill Pond Estate would be the perfect venue to create a luxury and outdoor wedding editorial. It had the perfect location to work with as a base; every inch of the venue is magical and full of whimsical elements!”
The photographer incorporated a sherbet-inspired palette to reflect the season and complement the venue’s natural surroundings.
“We wanted to play with soft hues like pinks, purples, and blues; we thought it would be perfect for spring inspiration and for couples who want to implement color into their wedding palette. We also loved the way both soft hues and neutral tones photographed and styled well at the venue!” Terrie gushed.
The sprawling outdoor space at Mill Pond Estate created the ideal backdrop for the tented reception setup. The neutral setting and vast size are perfect for any style celebration and attract couples looking for flexibility in creating a personalized event without competing with any existing décor or space limitation.
“The moment I laid my eyes on Mill Pond Estate, I knew I wanted to create inspiration in many areas at the venue, especially the garden! It looks very lush and the lighting is perfect in that area!” Terrie raved. “It is very versatile; every location can be romantic and luxurious. It has stunning gardens, fresh hand-cut florals, and striking horses that really create a full experience for a whimsical couple!”
Beneath an open-air tent, long tables were draped with peachy linens and flanked with elegant King Louis chairs courtesy of Kate Ryan Event Rentals. The place settings featured white china with gold scallop edges, rose glass tumblers, and coral-dipped gold flatware to create a chic reception atmosphere.
“My favorite elements of this editorial would be the color palette and the striking venue location! We also loved all the fine details in this editorial,” the photographer boasted.
