Christina and Kiel’s Clearwater Beach wedding featured a modern theme with an elegant silver, gold and white color palette.
To educate themselves on the wedding planning process, the bride and groom gained inspiration and advice from Marry Me Tampa Bay.
“We definitely browsed Marry Me Tampa Bay and read up on a lot of articles, which gave us tips and ideas,” the bride shared.
Knowing that wedding planners often come with the best suggestions of vendors, the couple hired Clearwater Beach wedding planner Special Moments Event Planning. The owner, Tammy, helped the couple with the hiring vendors and design creation.
“Tammy was literately the best! She not only made everything happen, but was always on top of things. If we had something not go right or not look the way we envisioned, she already had second options,” the bride explained.

Christina and Kiel incorporated classic ivory floral arrangements from Tampa Bay wedding florist Apple Blossoms Floral Design for a sophisticated beachfront wedding ceremony on the rooftop terrace of the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach.
“We wanted a place that you could view the beach and ocean,” the bride shared. “Out of all the venues we went to, the Hyatt was the most accommodating and the one that made us feel like they wanted our wedding as special as we did. They also had some updated renovations to the ballroom we had our reception in that is absolutely stunning.”

The Trinity, Florida couple searched for a Clearwater Beach wedding photographer who could help make them feel both comfortable and confident on their big day. Making an instant connection with Kéra, the owner of Kéra Photography, they were confident with their hiring decision.
“We wanted someone outgoing who connected with us, would direct us for certain poses for certain photos, but also take photos of us as we are doing our natural things (i.e. walking down the aisle, hugging family at the reception, etc). Kéra made us feel at ease and not like we had paparazzi,” Christina explained.

Opting for live wedding entertainment, Christina and Kiel hired musicians that they had seen perform many times before on Clearwater Beach.
“We didn’t want just a DJ, we wanted a live band. We had seen the Matt Winter Band play at the Palm Pavilion several times and loved their music,” the bride gushed. “We couldn’t have anyone but them. They were our favorite vendor. They are truly amazing at what they do!”
Looking back on their wedding day, the couple had several cherished moments that stood out amongst others.
“Our favorite memories were our ceremony, the speeches by the father of the bride, best man and maid of honor, the music from Matt Winter Band and our cake cutting, followed by our exit with glow sticks from all of our family and friends,” the bride reminisced.
The Proposal:
Kiel brought in both families for a weekend. They all went to Clearwater Beach for what I thought was a beach day, but turned into a surprise proposal. We walked along the beach by ourselves where Kiel proposed. As I turned around, our whole family was holding up a big poster that said “Congratulations!” As we walked back to their families, Kiel had one more surprise and that was to have my two best friends standing there as well.
