The Ceremony
Sky Terrace: High above the resort, breathtaking views of the Gulf and the Intracoastal Waterway make the 16th-floor venue unlike any other. Imagine a morning celebrating with the rising sun, an evening ceremony with the sunset as your backdrop, or dance under the stars with the love of your life. This terrace accommodates up to 200 guests for a ceremony or 120 guests for a reception.
The Beach: Just across the street from the Hyatt, put your toes in the sand and say “I Do.” Nothing says Florida like a beach wedding. Guest counts are based on the season and city approval.
The Cocktail Hour
Includes reception-style tables, both high-tops and low-tops with white padded folding chairs on a private terrace overlooking Clearwater Beach and the Gulf.

Indoor Reception Sites:
Belleair Ballroom: A rare gem on Clearwater Beach, the Belleair Ballroom offers stunning Gulf views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Accommodating up to 120 guests, this sophisticated space features a romantic silver and blue color palette, modern chandeliers, raised ceilings, and an adjoining outdoor terrace—perfect for sunset moments and cocktail mingling.
Aqualea Ballroom: The Aqualea Ballroom is the resort’s largest event space, welcoming up to 200 guests. With soaring coffered ceilings and dazzling chandeliers, it exudes grandeur and coastal elegance. A private foyer adds a touch of exclusivity and serves as an ideal setting for cocktail hour.
Caladesi Room: Perched above the sands and adjacent to the 8th-floor pool, the Caladesi Room is a charming Gulf-front venue ideal for rehearsal dinners, intimate receptions, or post-wedding brunches. It seats 40 guests indoors, or up to 90 when paired with its wrap-around terrace—offering breathtaking views and a relaxed coastal vibe.

We ultimately chose Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach because they offered us amazing services at a price we could afford! They included a venue coordinator, catering, bar packages, a free hotel room for the night of the wedding, and an amazing wedding team to help us throughout our planning process. Plus, I fell in love with the idea of getting married at a pink hotel. Especially with the view on the Sky Terrace during the ceremony, we just hadn’t found another venue that could compare!

I initially fell in love with the Hyatt Clearwater Beach for its stunning rooftop terrace. The moment I stepped into the ceremony space, I knew it was the right place. What truly sealed the decision was the staff’s kindness and professionalism. I happened to stop by on a Saturday while Cassie, the lead planner, was setting up for another wedding, and she graciously walked me through the layout and details. The view was spectacular, but the level of service throughout the planning process was even better.

There were so many venue options in the Tampa/Clearwater/St. Pete area, but the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach stole our hearts after our first visit! Their team made us feel so special and excited for our big day from the first day we met them! They were so knowledgeable, patient, and kind. The Hyatt had everything we were looking for, and the team made the process so easy and fun! We could not have been happier with our choice and wish we could do it all over again! We also had our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the Hyatt Regency on Friday night before the wedding. It was so much fun and the perfect sunset celebration!

When we had our first tour with Cassie at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach, her personable customer service immediately stood out to us. We found her to be very informative and organized, and she addressed all of our questions and concerns without hesitation. We knew we loved the venue when we toured the Sky Terrace; it felt dreamy, unique, and airy, which was the vision we were looking for. The destination and the rooftop terrace were so unique, unlike any venue we had ever been to, and that’s what made it all feel so perfect. The ambience of the terrace railing overlooking the ocean view, with the string lights lit, was magical.

We chose Clearwater because of the beach, amazing weather, proximity to Grace’s family, and fun vibes. We wanted to cultivate the beach/vacation experience for our guests, so we looked for the location by the beach that could accommodate both a large number of guests and also our large welcome party, outdoor wedding, and ballroom, with elegance. We wanted our guests to enjoy the things we love the most: the beach, great weather, music, a good time, and convenience, all in style, so our guests could feel like they were on vacation as much as they were at a wedding. The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach was a great venue, great location, attentive and experienced staff, good value for the money. We were very pleased with our service from the Hyatt.

The gulf coast of Florida is very special to us. We got engaged here and decided to have our wedding here. We wanted a dramatic natural backdrop, room for all wedding events to be in one place, and accommodations for every price point within walking distance. Between the sugar sand beaches, beautiful gulf waters and the dramatic views from the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach’s terrace, our decision for selecting a wedding location was easy. We chose the Hyatt for the Sky Terrace and all their different ballroom spaces we used throughout the weekend. The staff was so accommodating and responsive. Lindsey, Lizzie, Cassie and Grace all did an exceptional job helping to give us our dream wedding weekend!
