Samantha and Russell
“We chose a coastal blue theme. It is timeless and always such a beautiful color scheme. Our colors were coastal blues; they were perfect for a wedding right on the Gulf. “
-The Bride
Samantha and Russell’s chic Clearwater Beach destination wedding combined watery hues of aqua, cobalt blue, and navy with coastal decor and elegant attire. The Maryland bride and groom hosted their 140 closest friends and family for seaside nuptials overlooking the Florida surf before dining and dancing in a luxurious resort ballroom.
“The most important elements of the wedding were the band, florals, food and alcohol, and the ceremony location. We incorporated our personalities into the wedding with our decor, our fusion band and music choices, and attire,” the bride shared. “The most memorable moment was exchanging my vows with my husband. We wrote our own vows, and I still remember the feeling of unconditional love that came over me in that moment. I felt like he and I were the only ones there in that moment.”

The Bridal Beauty
Adore Bridal
“I chose Adore Bridal because their social media showed some amazing, beautiful brides. I got most of my wedding-day inspiration from their accounts.
Their makeup was gorgeous and glam but not too much, and the hairstyles I saw on their social media showed a ton of variety and talent. I incorporated my personality into my dress and hairstyles; I changed my hair for the reception. 10/10 recommend doing this!”

The Proposal
“Russell proposed on the Friday after Thanksgiving while we were walking our dog on one of our favorite paths near his parents’ home. It was very laid back; I was still in my pajamas!”

The Bach Party & Honeymoon
“My bachelorette was in Fort Lauderdale. I chose this location because it was a guaranteed fun time with guaranteed good weather!
We have not taken a honeymoon yet! We plan to do one in November, and I believe we are going to Mexico.”

The Venue

Sandpearl Resort
“We chose the Sandpearl Resort because it was actually our second vacation that we took together when we were dating, and we fell in love with it! Our priority was the ceremony location; we were able to get married on the Gulf Lawn, which was absolutely gorgeous. The service was great.
The venue is unique because it feels like you are on a tropical island without having to leave the States. Our guests were enjoying their own vacations which made us so happy to see.”

The Rentals
Kate Ryan Event Rentals
“We rented the linens from Kate Ryan Event Rentals, and they definitely enhanced the elegance of our reception.”

Which vendors really exceeded your expectations?
Our band and our florals were absolutely amazing. The florals were way more beautiful than I could have imagined and so elegant! The band was a fusion band that played live instruments and incorporated modern music as well as the classics into our reception.
