Kristi and PJ’s rustic Tampa Bay wedding combined the warmth of natural wood and greenery with chic gold accents and pops of vibrant reds and pinks. After exchanging vows under a towering oak, the bride and groom posed for portraits in a blooming wildflower field.
“Our theme was boho, light and airy. We loved the theme of the barn already, so we just needed to add a few small details to customize it. Our inspiration was the flower field on the venue’s property,” the bride shared. “We chose shades of blush and burgundy. We felt that it matched the boho flower theme.”
The Largo couple entrusted the husband and wife team at Sabrina Autumn Photography with documenting their 160-guest wedding. They desired a company that excelled at both wedding photography and videography in a way that felt natural and authentic.
“We looked for someone who could help us feel comfortable and confident and take us out of our comfort zone, as neither of us takes photos with a photographer often. We also wanted someone who was able to do videography with a drone as well. Sabrina Autumn Photography was amazing!” Kristi raved. “They made us feel comfortable and confident and knew just what to do and say to get us out of our comfort zone. Sabrina made us laugh, dance, and strike poses that made us feel on top of the world. We felt as if no one was watching, and it was just us alone having the best time ever. We truly had so much fun doing the shoot with her. She and her husband are a great team. Together, they collaborate to capture every moment, big or small. Her social media captures great photos and examples of what she’s capable of. Her photos are natural, not staged. You can tell she does a great job helping other clients also feel at ease and enjoy the experience!”
The pair said I do against the backdrop of sprawling green acreage on a rustic barn property. Neutral flora accented with pampas grass, berries, and greenery created an organic look in the ceremony and reception spaces. A vintage bouquet cart adorned the March celebration, giving a nod to the nearby wildflower field.
Lighting played a special role throughout the space, with iron lanterns strewn down the aisle path and twinkling lights accenting the trees along the drive. Unique signage adorned the space with Mr. and Mrs. marquee light letters for a modern touch.
“My husband grew up in Illinois and loved the open fields and barns of the area. We both love the boho style and wanted an indoor barn-style wedding that still felt classy,” Kristi detailed. “We also adore marquee lights and own a marquee business called Elite Marquee Lights. We were able to incorporate our metal marquee lights in the reception area for ourselves and guests to enjoy, and that was special to us.”
A few key moments between the bride and groom stood out, but walking hand-in-hand in the beautiful wildflowers was another core memory from the day.
“The most memorable moments were at the ceremony when we said ‘I do,’ as well as the first touch when we read our vows to each other,” the bride reminisced. “I also really enjoyed our first dance and taking our photos in the flower field with our photographer, Sabrina.”

The Proposal:
PJ took us back to Armature Works, where we had our first date. After dinner, he surprised me with the proposal when we went for a walk along the bay!

Where did you host your bachelorette party?
My bachelorette party was in a large house on Indian Rocks Beach. I chose the location because it was convenient for my guests, and the house was beautiful and right on the beach.
