“I would describe my wedding as being boho-inspired. It is definitely my favorite style and the same way I have our house decorated, as well as my clothing boutique,” the bride shared. “Most people would describe my personality as being pretty bright and happy, so I think the fun colors definitely align with my personality! I went with very bright, vibrant colors, and then mixed that with all things gold! I wanted our wedding decor to be different from weddings our guests had attended before, something that really stood out. Hot pink, vibrant greens, and gold were my main colors. They are my all-time favorite colors and how I design pretty much every other aspect of my life – you should see my living room!”

“For this shoot, we wanted to create a garden whimsical editorial,” Terrie Nelson, photographer and owner of Terrie Images shared. “We knew Mill Pond Estate would be the perfect venue to create a luxury and outdoor wedding editorial. It had the perfect location to work with as a base; every inch of the venue is magical and full of whimsical elements!”

“The moment I laid my eyes on Mill Pond Estate, I knew I wanted to create inspiration in many areas at the venue, especially the garden! It looks very lush and the lighting is perfect in that area!” Terrie raved. “It is very versatile; every location can be romantic and luxurious. It has stunning gardens, fresh hand-cut florals, and striking horses that really create a full experience for a whimsical couple!”

“Upon seeing the courtyard at Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club, the theme basically chose itself. After deciding on a tropical theme, I focused on making it extra lush to helped to accentuate the details of the courtyard,” Kelci Zicconi, Owner and Planner at Kelci Leigh Events shared. “In keeping with the lush, tropical theme of the shoot, I decided that pinkorange, green, and white epitomized the vibe that I was going for. I’ll admit that as soon as the theme was decided, I spent my days daydreaming, picturing the perfect tropical getaway: swaying palm trees, bright, music of the islands, and endless sunshine.”

“We kept the tropical vibe consistent from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, and the reception. We started with a beautiful entry display that had acrylic columns and tall vibrant tropical arrangements; these arrangements were also duplicated as centerpieces that could be moved during cocktail hour. This is a great little tip we like to provide to our brides to help them with their budget!” Danielle advised. “A row of jade leaves and petals led to the archway that was covered with gorgeous tropical leaves and vibrant blooms.”

“Our theme was summer love. Feeling a tug towards summer weather and a light-hearted way of life, we wanted something summery to reflect that vibe,” Jaimi Weatherspoon, planner and owner of I Choose You Events shared. “Our colors were turquoisefuchsia, and white. We wanted colors that were different and playful, colors that screamed personality yet could be used in a classy way.”

“Our inspiration came from ‘Cigar City.’ My middle name is Corral, and my family owned and operated the Corral Wodiska Cigar Factory, a building that still stands in Ybor today. We got the idea to get married in Ybor City because of my family’s history in the Ybor cigar industry. It was important to the two of us to honor that history. We also love a good party and, as you can tell from our wedding hashtag, #PartyWithThe Petersons, our wedding theme was just that, a party with all our favorite people in one place,” the bride beamed. “Our wedding colors included whitesgoldssilver sagelight grey, and green. I kept it very simple with the colors; I liked that they were simple, traditional, and elegant.”

“Hours of Pinterest and Etsy inspired my wedding florals! I knew I wanted simplicity in whites, golds, and greens. I also love whimsical, pillowy florals and asymmetry in the design. My inspiration was traditional but warm and romantic. This is why we included tables exclusively with candles with glass candle holders of various heights,” the bride detailed. “Florals were the most daunting part of the wedding process for me. However, I only had to meet with Bruce Wayne Florals once for a consultation, and immediately, I knew they shared my vision. I walked away from our initial meeting fully trusting they would bring my vision to life with their experience and details, and I never worried about it again. The final product was truly better than I could have ever imagined.”

“The theme of this shoot was edgy and romantic. We really wanted to gear this styled shoot to the fearless couples who have an edgy style and love to step outside the box,” Annika LaSala, Director of Weddings at Cross Creek Ranch, articulated. “We are a ranch wedding venue, so naturally, most of our weddings have a rustic touch. However, we wanted to showcase a different design that we thought would look perfect in our new modern venue, The Oak Hall.”

“Using vibrant spring colors was our focus for the floral designs. We wanted to incorporate different textures of flowers along with different varieties of lush greenery,” Jean King, owner of Monarch Events and Design, detailed. “We loved designing the flowers for the open-air chapel. Our flower backdrop inspiration was drawn from the refined industrial elements inside The Oak Hall. The white shiplap walls and wooden tables created the perfect space for the colorful floral designs.”

“I would describe our theme as whimsical and romantic. Both myself and Chase are romantics by nature, so we wanted the design of the wedding to match our relationship,” the bride shared. “For our color scheme, we chose dusty bluegold, and white. Not only is blue both of our favorite colors, but we thought it would tie in beautifully with the water and really bring out the whimsical theme we were going for.”

“The first time I toured the property, I noticed a lot of flowers in different shades of pink and red around the hotel. I felt it was important to incorporate the natural beauty as our wedding was going to be outside in a tent. The hotel is historic and classically southern. I wanted to incorporate both the classic architecture and the natural color around the Inn,” the bride shared. “I chose different shades of pink from light to bright. We also used vintage-inspired blue and white vases. I’ve always loved these vases and the color combination with the pink was both elegant and fun!”
