Inspired by tropical islands and vibrant colors, this Instagram-worthy Tampa Bay bachelorette party styled shoot featured whimsical pool floaties, poolside cabanas, and the cutest bridesmaids accessories.
“I wanted to incorporate the tropical islands and all of the beautiful colors, so I went for an ‘island in the sun’ theme,” Erica, The 7th Floor Plan wedding planner and designer, shared. “The inspiration for the table setting came from the Philippines where I grew up. There, dining together is a way for family and friends to gather and celebrate over food, almost like a wedding!”
There’s no other hotter Tampa Bay pool spot WTR located at The Godfrey Hotel, which served as the perfect backdrop for this fun and flirty bachelorette party. It features a brand new waterfront pool with cabanas, chaise lounges, and stunning sunsets.
“Shooting at WTR, overlooking the water really was perfect. The sun was radiating over the table and for a second it almost felt like we were in Bali!” Erica gushed. “The atmosphere of The Godfrey gives you the ability to choose your own excitement. Whether you want to enjoy music by the water or grab a drink at the bar, the options are endless. The best part is being able to just sit back and relax by the poolside or in one of their amazing cabanas overlooking the ocean.”

Bright florals by Flower Child Florist complemented by oversized balloons from Flourish Tampa added to the fun, flirty atmosphere.
“We used a lot of greenery, deep oranges, yellows, plums, berries, and blues,” Erica explained. “Sticking to the tropical feel was important so we made sure to mix the colors of the sun with the colors of the water to get exactly what we were looking for.”
Tampa wedding photographer Grind + Press Photography captured all the fun from the candid selfies with hair and makeup by Michele Renee The Studio to the waterside yoga class by Fifth Sign Yoga.

Any successful bachelorette party needs drinks and desserts, which included a colorful fruit and champagne spread from WTR, macarons by Kasey’s Confections, a teal and yellow hat cake by The Artistic Whisk, and ice cream from the Clara Rosa Ice Cream Truck.
“Honestly, I loved so many elements from the shoot. From the models to the outfits to the ice cream truck and floaties, everything meshed perfectly!” Erica gushed. “It was great that we were able to create a polished look that included a killer tablescape with fabulous decor and food. It was definitely a time to celebrate!”
