Tucked away on the outskirts of Tampa Bay you’ll find a romantic, lush green farm with rolling pastures and rustic elegance. Dripping with southern charm and gorgeous lakeside views, photographer Bára Miller of Bára Miller Photography partnered with Julie Perez of Covington Designs and Events who knew it would be an ideal spot for a farm meets vintage Tampa Bay wedding styled shoot.
“This shoot was inspired by true southern charm. Our goal was to take a classic farm wedding and give it that little extra sparkle by adding a touch of elegance to complement the charming south,” Julie explained. “We added lots of romantic details to make the barn feel like you grew up here, instead of it being just another venue.”

The letterpress wedding stationery designed by A&P Design Co and lace wedding dress from Isabel O’Neil Bridal along with the romantic pink color palette perfectly pulled together the elegant theme the photographer was going for.

“It all started with a vintage white and blue china set from Treasury Rentals and really just progressed from there,” Julie said. “We needed a pop of color so we decided on a romantic color palette of light pink, blush, and fuchsia. To really achieve the look we were going for, we added hints of gold throughout like the cutlery and candle holders.”
Looking for a way to incorporate a vintage, but modern feel, the photographer drew inspiration from a favorite romantic comedy.
“I really gained inspiration from the movie Sweet Home Alabama. Specifically, the part before Reese Witherspoon leaves Patrick Dempsey at the altar. It’s the perfect mix of southern charm with the sparkle and shine of New York city,” Julie explained.
As the details of this charming, southern styled shoot came together, there were some key pieces that truly brought it to life.
“One of my favorite elements of the shoot was the ability to showcase the property through the mini photo shoots we created,” Julie gushed. “It really shows the variety of areas where you can set up the ceremony, take pictures or incorporate a photo booth or two.”
