Bree and Anthony’s St. Pete Beach wedding perfectly tied together their romantic personalities and precise attention to detail. Covered in gorgeous pastels and fabulous floral, the bride and groom’s outdoor Florida each wedding featured a stunning waterfront ceremony and elegant ballroom reception.
“Our theme was simply romantic. Anthony and I are both hopeless romantics, and the theme of our relationship has always played off of this,” the bride gushed. “We wanted to capture that soft feeling and emotion in our decor. Thanks to our vendors, we were able to successfully create the exact atmosphere we were hoping for.”
During their journey to plan the perfect day, the pair looked to Marry Me Tampa Bay’s Instagram for ideas and inspiration. As they researched local wedding photographers, Kéra Photography caught their eye for her unique and artistic portraits.
“There is one photo in particular that put Kéra at the top of our list. It was a sunset wedding photo where you could tell she played with the light fractures. Upon speaking to her, we could tell she had a passion for creativity and absolutely loved love. We had 110% confidence she would capture our relationship and tell a story with her photos,” the bride gleamed. “From start to finish, Kéra was professional, seamless and organized. When it came to our wedding day, you would have thought she had been doing this for 20 years based on her efficiency and ease, but with the enthusiasm and excitement as if it were her first. We could not have been happier with the day or the end product.”

For her wedding day look, the bride chose neutral makeup and a half updo with cascading curls for her outdoor beach wedding ceremony.
“I am not someone who wears much makeup, so it was important to me that my look was as light and natural as possible. As for hair, I just wanted something that looked romantic,” Bree explained. I liked that Michele Renee The Studio had different tiers of service and experience levels. I was very happy with my hair and makeup, and I loved my bridesmaid’s looks!:

With their high standards in taste, the bride and groom zeroed in on a wedding cake baker who had a history of delivering only the best.
“Jovana with The Artistic Whisk was amazing. The tasting was intimate and thorough, and the quality of the ingredients were top-notch,” Bree gushed. “The entire experience was positive, and they were thrilled to take on the inspiration design I provided. By the end of the night, we had gotten plenty of compliments about how great the cake was!”

Reminicising about the day they tied the knot, the newlyweds have a few favorite memories that stand out the most, including some exciting news about their future.
“We loved getting to take the gorgeous photos at sunset as our first moments being husband and wife. It was nice to just be ourselves, take a breath and soak in everything that just happened,” the bride shared. “Another exciting surprise was when we found out after the wedding that we were three months pregnant! It means so much more looking back on our photos and video and seeing how much love and celebration there was on that day.”
The Proposal:
Anthony and some of his family members took me out on the boat to watch the sunset on a sandbar by Fort DeSoto. We got off the boat onto the sandbar alone, and he set up a tripod to take photos of the sunset, but he actually set it up to record the proposal. It was a very unexpected beautiful surprise!
What were your hair and makeup inspiration?
I am not someone who wears much makeup, so it was important to me that my look was as light and natural as possible. As for hair, I just wanted something that looked romantic. It took a few trials with different stylists, but I was thrilled with the end result.

How would you describe your theme?
Simply romantic. Anthony and I are both hopeless romantics, and the theme of our relationship has always played off of this. We wanted to capture that soft feeling and emotion in our decor. Thanks to our vendors, we were able to successfully create the exact atmosphere we were hoping for.
What were your colors?
We both love soft pastel colors so it was pretty easy to find a palette to match that.
What did you look for in a wedding photographer?
Someone who was unique, and approached their photography like an art. Anthony is a creative himself, so I knew he would be very picky when it came to the photographer.

I didn’t want generic. Back home a friend of mine is a well-known wedding cake decorator so my standards were pretty high.

How did you incorporate you and your spouse’s personalities into the wedding?
Anthony and I took dance lessons because we wanted a choreographed first dance. Anthony had also written a song for me and performed it during the reception. We created all of the playlists for each segment of the wedding based on the emotion we wanted to portray. Our dinner playlist was one we had created throughout our long-distance relationship that featured songs we had both added that that reminded us of each other.
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Budget. We did not and got sideswiped by the overall cost leading up to it. Have a top five list of the most important things to each of you. Ensure the wedding incorporates elements of both of you, and don’t sweat the small stuff! You will never make everyone in your family happy; it is your day, do you!
