Lea and Brandon’s St. Pete Beach wedding was an unforgettable oceanfront celebration filled with elegant decor, pops of rose gold, and a stunning outdoor ceremony steps from the beach.
“I wanted something elegant, but true to my style. I didn’t want anything too over the top,” the bride shared. “I had a few quirky decorations such as birdcages and name cards in the shape of birds, but overall we wanted the day to truly be a reflection of our personalities and love for each other.”
Breathtaking views of the endless Florida shoreline was a must for the bride, and it didn’t take long for the iconic Don CeSar Hotel to steal her heart.
“We really wanted to nail our beach vision and making sure there were views of the beach from the reception area was something we knew we wanted from the start,” Lea shared. “The Don CeSar was amazing and accommodating throughout the whole process and Heidi, the catering sales manager, was a big reason we chose the Don! She was great!”

The couple’s timeless beachfront affair wouldn’t have been complete without a cake that tasted as good as it looked, and St. Pete based bakery The Artistic Whisk was up for the task.
“I definitely wanted a very simple wedding cake,” the bride explained. “The Artistic Whisk is awesome, and we knew it was a match when we had our cake tasting! Everything they do is beautiful and delicious, and we’re so glad they were a piece of making our big day extra special.”

What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Start early, find your venue first, and plan around that. Don’t think you have to settle on a dress just because you already bought it. I switched my dress three months before the wedding, and it worked out way better than I ever could’ve imagined!
