Kathryn and Frank’s elegant downtown Tampa wedding combined romantic decor and gorgeous greenery to capture their modern, garden-inspired celebration. Featuring a soft color palette of blush pink and champagne, the bride and groom transformed their ballroom reception into a whimsical dream.
“I have always envisioned my wedding as romantic and garden inspired,” the bride gushed. “Growing up I was able to travel with my grandparents a lot, and we always found the most beautiful gardens and state parks. In a way, my theme was to honor my grandmother whom I’m named after. Both my grandparents are still with us and have always been a huge inspiration to me!”

As Kathryn pieced together her big day, she looked to Marry Me Tampa Bay for fresh inspiration and advice. Envisioning the details and decor, the bride turned to Over the Top Rental Linens and A Chair Affair to complete her look.
“My planner suggested Over The Top Rental Linens and A Chair Affair to really capture my look,” the bride shared. “All of the chairs, overlays, chargers, and silverware came from A Chair Affair, and I was really satisfied with everything. Thanks to all of our vendors our day was that much more special.”

Reminiscing about the day they tied the knot, the bride enjoyed spending time with her dad and seeing her groom for the first time.
“My dad is my best friend, so having him walk me down that long aisle in the church was very special to me. As we approached, Frank waiting for me at the end of the aisle, I was filled with joy and happiness,” the bride gushed. “Everything really was perfect, and I’m thankful for everyone that brought my vision to life.”
The Proposal:
We had plans on a Friday night to go to Bern’s for our friend’s birthday, but little did I know it was all made up to get me to a surprise engagement party. While we were at home and I was getting ready, Frank asked me to be his wife. It was so sweet, and I loved having that short quiet time together. We called our parents without me knowing they were in on everything and secretly waiting for us at the engagement party. We drove over to our friend’s house to have pre-dinner drinks, and when I got there he had our friends and family in town to celebrate. I couldn’t even make it in the door without crying tears of surprise and joy. I still can’t believe he pulled it off without me having any clue!
