Vintage Inspired Outdoor Tampa Bay Wedding | Casa Lantana Wedding
Inspired by a vintage VW bus, Tampa wedding planner and designer Glitz Events created a vintage retro styled wedding incorporating a bright color palette and a mix of modern and vintage elements.
“The fact that the bus was bright orange helped us come up with a color scheme. We added neutrals to tone down brightness of the orange and added pink to make it adaptable to spring/summer rather than just fall,” Amy Kladis, owner of Glitz Events, explained. “We also incorporated some other vintage items, such as the couch and chairs, to keep the retro vibe, but added some modern pieces to update it.”
To create a romantic atmosphere, the planner chose outdoor Tampa Bay wedding venue Casa Lantana as the wedding shoot’s backdrop.
“We were looking for a forest-like area and Casa Lantana was perfect! They have great spaces and versatility,” Amy gushed. “One of my favorite elements of the shoot was that the Casa Lantana cat that just came up to our bride and groom while taking photos. It added a touch sincerity and romance at the all the right times, and the fact that it was orange was just perfect!”
Tampa wedding florist Northside Florist put together boho inspired arrangements, using greenery, peach and blush pink florals to create a romantic feel. Over the Top Linen Rentals completed the look with shimmery linens to add a hit of glam.
The hand painted wedding cake created by Hands on Sweets featured a cascade of sugar flowers and gold trim, which added sophistication to the outdoor wedding. While the market lighting by Gabro Event Services set the mood for an enchanting night of dancing under the open sky.
