Bok Tower Gardens Wedding – Lake Wales Wedding
When I was bride I didn't realize the vast wedding venue options available to me. Tampa Bay offers more than just beach weddings, there are rustic barns, downtown lofts and just an hour east, stunning Bok Tower Gardens.
Lake Wales wedding photographer Catherine Ann Photography and wedding planner Burkle Events teamed up to showcase this bright, romantic wedding shoot at Bok Tower Gardens.
“Our inspiration was Spring! We just love how nature becomes full of colors and life again,” Catherine of Catherine Ann Photography shared. “Bok Tower has gorgeous gardens and the Singing Tower makes for a beautiful backdrop.”
With the help of Lake Wales wedding planner Burkle Events, the photographer's vintage garden wedding vision came to life.
“We styled the whole shoot, from the stationary to the dishes, florals, chairs and dress. We kept the details of what a bride would be inspired by,” Jennifer of Burkle Events explained.
Even though this was styled shoot and not a true wedding, the event still had its misadventures.
“Our ‘bride’s' car got stuck in the mud on her way to the shoot and our balloon bouquet floated away before we got a single photo!” Catherine said.
Luckily, crafty back-up planning saved the day.
“Yay for Burkle Events for having flowers as a back up! This is why you hire a planner, brides! They have seen it all!” the photographer applauded.
