“Best of” 2020 Wedding Ceremonies

Armature Works Bridal Show 2021 | Tampa Wedding Show

Vibrant Pink Floral-Filled Downtown Tampa Wedding | The Vault

“I love flowers and bold colors. I knew I wanted lush, bright, and different. Our florist even helped me incorporate flowers that my grandmother grew in her garden when I was a child which meant so much to me. The venue was one thing that my husband ended up being particular about, which was surprising. We looked at a couple of different places, and I received very nonchalant and non-committal responses from Brian. Then we toured The Vault. Brian just lit up and said, ‘This is it.’ He works in finance and loved that historically it was the Federal Exchange. I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows and the blank slate to create what we really wanted. Hearing the song that I chose to walk down the aisle to and then coming around the corner on my dad’s arm and seeing Brian for the first time is an experience I can barely describe. I didn’t see anyone else but him when I walked down that aisle; everyone else seemed to just fade away. When I reached him, and he had tears in his eyes (which was surprising because he’s not very emotional in that way), I knew he was having the same magical moment that I was.” -The Bride

Tropical Waterfront Tampa Elopement Inspiration | Godfrey Hotel

“Since this was by the water on the pier, we really wanted to stick with a tropical, colorful theme. We wanted the flowers to pop and really stand out in front of the water rather than going with muted tones and greenery. The Godfrey pier is really the perfect place for an elopement. It is small enough to host an intimate wedding but yet not too small where guests would feel crowded. This is the perfect location for couples that want that water view without actually having their toes in the sand.” -Wedding Planner Elope Tampa Bay

Romantic Dusty Blue, White, and Gold Downtown St. Pete Wedding | NOVA 535

“We didn’t really have a theme. I just picked colors I liked and wanted to make it simple but classy. I chose things that I loved and made it our own. I wanted it to be about our love for each other and having my son be a part of the wedding as well. The minute we walked into NOVA 535 we knew it was the place! It had such a great vibe! The whole staff was great from start to finish. We worked with Ruby, and she always got back to us quickly and answered any questions we had. We would, and have, recommended this place to others.” -The Bride

Maroon, Ivory and Pink Waterfront St. Pete Beach Wedding | Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club

“We customized the ceremony, readings, and unity ceremony, and we used that opportunity to reflect our personalities. For the unity ceremony, we combined glass together in a vase and then later used that glass to create wine glasses together in a glass blowing class. It was also important that both of our families were represented even if they couldn’t make it, so we had framed pictures of our grandparents displayed at our reception. Isla Del Sol was the perfect combination of everything we were looking for in a venue. It was such a stunning location that we knew that it was the place as soon as we saw it. Our whole day was amazing, but finally marrying my best friend was definitely near the top. From getting ready to the first look, to our unique glass unity ceremony, every one of these moments we paused to take in the love that surrounded us!” -The Bride

Boho Inspired Sarasota Destination Beach Wedding | The Resort at Longboat Key Club

“We wanted a private, natural setting with a beautiful view so the beach setting at The Resort at Longboat Key Club was perfect for us. The ceremony and vibe of the reception were really important to us. We wanted to keep the ceremony intimate and personal in a way that was more representative of us. We had Chris’ best friend officiate and spent a lot of time coming up with the script and vows. We really wanted to stay away from doing a more traditional wedding and stay true to who we are. Overall, we wanted everyone to enjoy themselves in a casual yet beautiful setting. One of the most memorable moments for me was walking down the aisle and seeing Chris for the first time that day. It was an emotional moment that I will always remember.” -The Bride

Vibrant, Tropical Destination Florida Wedding | Hilton Clearwater Beach

“Marques and I loved the thought of our wedding as a weekend, giving us quality time with our friends and family instead of cramming that into one day. We decided Florida was a good spot for almost all our guests to travel to. We took a long weekend to fly down to Florida to check out a few venues in the Clearwater, Siesta Key, and Sarasota areas. Out of all the venues, the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa was our favorite. We selected the Hilton because it best suited our diverse wedding guests, and it had the best interior and exterior design for the needs of our guests. Our colors included bright magenta for the bridesmaids’ dresses and navy, white and grey for the groomsmen. Our flowers had a ton of tropical green plants with magenta, purple and tangerine colors. Our most memorable moments were the vows because I also ended up giving vows to my now stepdaughter Ava, the first look was such a private and intimate experience for Marques and me.” -The Bride

Romantic Pastel Sunset Rooftop Wedding | Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach

“For our photoshoot at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach, we chose to go with the theme of elegant, upscale beachy. We loved the hotel’s light pink color and the blue of the ocean just beyond it. We wanted to keep our tones more neutral to complement this, and we also wanted to shoot at sunset. We chose to incorporate a lot of neutral white and ivory tones and glass elements to enhance the beautiful colors of the setting sun with the hotel’s light pink setting.” -Wedding Planner Coastal Coordinating

Romantic Pink and Burgundy Sarasota Destination Wedding | Powel Crosley Estate

“Our wedding design and colors were inspired by a beautiful bouquet I’d seen online. That bouquet became the foundation for our color and floral design. I chose it because the mix of colors was very appealing! Our wedding colors were mauve, soft pink, rose gold, purple, burgundy, gold, grey, and touches of boysenberry. The most memorable moments were giving our mothers flowers to include and honor them in our ceremony in a special way and to show them just how much we appreciate all that they have done for us. I know it’s cliché, but truly, without them, there’d be no us. We spoke from the heart to each other for our vows. It was our moment to show how we felt after ten years of loving one another, in about ten minutes, but it still meant so much.” -The Bride

Boho Chic South Tampa Wedding | Tampa Garden Club

“We wanted the ceremony and reception to take place in the same space so we wouldn’t need to transport people from one place to another. We wanted an open space that we could customize to fit our design preferences that could also accommodate our 200 person guest list. I’d been to events at the Tampa Garden Club before and knew that everything we wanted to do could be accommodated. Nothing felt too formal or stuffy; we kept it fun and casual (even though everyone was in formal wear), and it made people feel like they were partying it up in our own backyard if our backyard was Bayshore. Plus, you can’t beat that view! ” -The Bride
