To showcase Tampa Bay’s new private estate venue, the Whitehurst Gallery in Tarpon Springs, Marry Me Tampa Bay and the Association of Bridal Consultants of West Central Florida recently hosted a wedding vendor networking event, How to Effectively Network to Receive Vendor Referrals, featuring an expert panel discussion featuring Tampa Bay’s top venue managers and planners. The veteran wedding pro panelists shared valuable insights on effective networking and creating strong connections with other vendors to get on the coveted “preferred list.”
The afternoon began in the front foyer of the regal venue with passed hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails by Elite Events Catering as wedding professionals from across the region arrived. The full-service caterer specializes in developing unique, custom menus and beverage packages for their clients.
Guests transitioned into the stunning ballroom, where the neoclassical architecture was intertwined into every detail of the Jefferson Monument-inspired event space. The Great Room features an incredible library spanning the entire interior wall of the second-floor balcony. As wedding pros learned more about Tampa Bay’s wedding scene, they were surrounded by literary greats, antique victrolas, turn-of-the-century artwork, and marble statues.
Joyelan Photography captured the day unfolding while highlighting the unique design of the Whitehurst Gallery. Outside The Box Event Rentals complemented the venue’s natural beauty with luxurious white linens, gold beveled glass charges, and geometrical gold metallic candle votives. The classic pearl napkin holders demonstrated how the rental company takes care of every rental need, big or small. A delicious lunch accompanied the presentation, while Tampa Event DJs handled all of the audio and video needs.
The expert panel consisted of Jordan Heller of SWEL Events, Meghan Hygh of Hotel Haya, Katy Martin of Coastal Coordinating, Courtney Owens of Hilton Clearwater Beach, and was moderated by Anna Coats of Marry Me Tampa Bay. Guests listened to their expertise and enjoyed a fun day of education and conversation in a venue like no other.
