Lauren and Daniel’s Sarasota wedding embodied a classic, romance novel in real life. With a color palette of white with greenery and pops of navy, the simplistic decor kept to the minimalistic theme, while the touches of lace, waterfront glamour, and sunset portraits had us swooning!
The Tampa bride and groom knew that they wanted a top notch team of Sarasota wedding pros for their big day, so they turned to Marry Me Tampa Bay for guidance and vendor recommendations.
“I absolutely used Marry Me Tampa Bay during our wedding planning process. A lot of our vendors were preferred vendors, which made us feel confident that our day would be perfect,” the bride beamed. “Marry Me Tampa Bay is an amazing resource with knowledgeable professionals who were there to answer any questions we had along the way. We found the majority of vendors through the website including our officiant, DJ, photographer and videographer.”
Searching for a Sarasota wedding photographer who could make them feel at ease on their wedding day, the couple hired Brandi Image Photography.
“We knew we wanted to hire Brandi Image Photography after we saw pictures from a previous wedding Brandi photographed at the Powel Crosley. She truly captured the beauty of the venue,” Lauren shared. “Brandi was energetic, professional, and we instantly felt comfortable with her. We absolutely loved our wedding photographs, and she captured everything in a way that made us feel as though we can relive that day.”
With videography on the list as one of the most important elements on their wedding day, the couple looked for a Sarasota wedding videographer who brought creativity and innovation to their wedding film.
“Rad Red Creative creates absolutely amazing wedding videos, and I truly feel like there is no one who does it like them,” Lauren gushed. “They were experienced, fun and made us feel at ease. We are so glad we hired them, and the video is something we will cherish and continue to watch for years to come.”
Looking back on their wedding day, one of the most memorable moments for the couple was their first dance. With an emphasis on ensuring that their guests were on the dance floor all night, the couple kicked off their reception with an amazing DJ from Grant Hemond and Associates.
“Our first dance was very memorable for us. It was amazing to be outside, under the lights at a beautiful estate and surrounded by our closest family and friends,” the bride reminisced.

The Proposal:
Daniel and I were in Park City, Utah for my birthday. There was a big snow storm, and we had to run through a field to get to our restaurant for dinner. While we were running, he yelled, “Wait!” and I turned around to see him on one knee.

How would you describe your theme?
Simple and classic. Our venue was so beautiful, so we felt as though we didn’t need to add a whole lot to the décor.
What were your colors?
Our colors were primarily shades of white with greenery and small pops of navy. I wanted a simple look, and it worked well with the venue.

What did you look for in a wedding DJ?
Finding a good DJ was one of our top priorities. We wanted our guests to be on the dance floor all night.
Grant Hemond and Associates came highly recommended. It was one of our best decisions hiring them for our wedding. Our guests had the best time and our dj’s music selection couldn’t have been better. He made our wedding flow smoothly, from the ceremony to the dancing.
How did you incorporate you and your spouse’s personalities into the wedding?
It was important for us to have our guests to be on the dance floor and enjoying the night. We chose the best DJ and he made that happen.
