Teresita and Tyler
“Our wedding was a mix of timeless and garden-inspired. I absolutely love florals and wanted to incorporate light pastel blues while keeping everything elegant. The colors reflected both our personalities an d the style of the venue. We went with natural arrangements of white roses and greenery, then added touches of pastel blue for a soft pop of color. I originally planned to do all white but decided to bring in a little personality while still keeping it neutral and classy.” -The Bride
Teresita and Tyler’s elegant Brooksville wedding was a heartfelt celebration of faith, family, and timeless style. Set on a picturesque estate with rustic charm and natural beauty, the bride and groom chose a soft palette of whites and greenery, subtle hints of light blue, and a classic Rolls-Royce to complete the timeless look.
“Our wedding was a mix of timeless and garden-inspired. I absolutely love florals and wanted to incorporate light pastel blues while keeping everything elegant,” the bride detailed. “The colors reflected both our personalities and the style of the venue. We went with natural arrangements of white roses and greenery, then added touches of cornflower blue for a soft pop of color. I originally planned to do all white but decided to bring in a little personality while still keeping it neutral and classy.”
Wanting a location that felt meaningful and convenient for their guests, the Tampa couple found the perfect fit in a charming city just north of their hometown for their October celebration.
“We were both born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, so we wanted to stay nearby to make it easy for all of our closest friends and family to be there,” the bride explained. “We chose Brooksville because we fell in love with our venue, Legacy Lane Weddings. It was close enough to home for everyone we love to attend, yet still gave us the beautiful estate setting we had always dreamed of for our wedding.”
For Teresita and Tyler, Legacy Lane Weddings isn’t just a wedding venue; it is a meaningful part of their story, filled with personal ties and weekend-long memories.
“We really wanted an estate with a beautiful house as a backdrop, but also wanted the reception at the same location. We were also very set on a place where our friends and family could stay the whole weekend. My husband actually worked at Legacy Lane Weddings for a year on weekends, valeting to save up for my engagement ring. He grew close with the owners and employees, so it felt like getting married with the help of family,” Teresita beamed. “The service was beyond amazing. Our venue coordinator handled every detail perfectly. Marianne, one of the owners, even brought a homemade breakfast basket to the bridal house that morning. It was the perfect peaceful start to the day. The best part was having 30 of our closest friends and family stay the whole weekend and celebrate for three days straight, instead of just one quick day that flies by!”
Their focus wasn’t just on the wedding day but on the entire weekend experience. By having their wedding party and close friends stay on-site at Legacy Lane Weddings, they created space for late-night games, S’mores, and memories that stretched far beyond a single day. Their celebration felt relaxed, connected, and completely personal.
“We wanted a ceremony that felt sacred and emotional, but we also wanted to throw the kind of party our people would never forget,” the bride gushed. “It was all about making it feel like us, honoring the moment, and having the absolute best time with the people we love.”
Teresita relied on Marry Me Tampa Bay for inspiration and guidance, using the site and its Instagram to discover local weddings and vendors.
“I used all of the resources on the Marry Me Tampa Bay site and Instagram and found it so helpful to get inspiration for nearby weddings and vendors,” the bride revealed. “We specifically found our hair and makeup artists, Adore Bridal Hair and Makeup, on Marry Me Tampa Bay’s website. I remember scrolling for hours on Marry Me Tampa Bay’s Instagram looking for the very best vendors!”
Vows were exchanged in front of a stunning white two-story estate, framed by grand columns and surrounded by 150 of the couple’s closest family and friends. The bride wore a timeless white A-line gown adorned with delicate floral embellishments and beautifully completed by the talented beauty artists at Adore Bridal Hair and Makeup.
“My hair and makeup inspiration was to be as natural and timeless as possible, yet with a little glam to stand out,” the bride beamed. “I chose Adore Bridal Hair and Makeup not only because they have a massive support team, but because at my trial, they listened to me so well. I’ve had my makeup done so many times and left disappointed, so I was nervous for my wedding day look. But at Adore, my makeup looked just like me with a touch of glam. Plus, the girls are so fun.”
Teresita and Tyler made their wedding day a true reflection of who they are by blending heartfelt meaning with high-energy celebration. They began by honoring their faith, asking their home church pastor to officiate and grounding their ceremony in what mattered most to them. But when it came time to celebrate, they turned up the fun with not one but two grand entrances. The first was set to Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic, and the second, after a quick outfit change, featured money guns and an entrance to Money Maker that had the entire dance floor lit up.
One of the most memorable and emotional moments of the day came just before Teresita walked down the aisle, creating an unforgettable experience.
“Our videographer helped me pre-record a message that played just before I walked down the aisle, where I spoke directly to my soon-to-be husband,” the bride reminisced. “I was behind the doors and didn’t see it unfold, but for weeks afterward, everyone kept talking about how emotional and powerful that moment was. The build-up and suspense made it unforgettable. My husband was in tears, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.”

The Proposal:
Tyler and I had planned our first weekend with both sets of our parents last December. We went to the Asheville and Biltmore area in North Carolina. We visited Pretty Place Chapel for sunrise, and he did it while the sun was rising in front of the Pretty Place Chapel cross.

What did you look for in a wedding venue?
We really wanted an estate with a beautiful house as a backdrop, but also wanted the reception at the same location. We were also very set on a place where our friends and family could stay the whole weekend. Where did you spend your honeymoon?
We honeymooned for 16 unforgettable days across France and Italy, starting in Paris and traveling through Beaune, Nice, Lake Como, Tuscany, and ending in Rome. We chose this adventure because we are not ones to sit still and have always dreamed of exploring Europe. Knowing that we hoped to start a family soon after, we decided to go all in and take the trip of a lifetime before life got even crazier.
Where did you host your bachelor and bachelorette parties?
Hilton Head, South Carolina. We did this because we wanted a joint bachelor and bachelorette party. It was important that the girls and guys did their own thing during the day and came together at the end of it. The guys went golfing while the girls stayed at the house, relaxing in the pool or on the beach. We all came together at night to grill, go out to dinner, and play games!

How would you describe your theme/wedding design inspiration?
Our wedding was a mix of timeless and garden-inspired. I absolutely love florals and wanted to incorporate light pastel blues while keeping everything elegant. The colors reflected both our personalities and the style of the venue.
What were your colors?
We went with natural arrangements of white roses and greenery, then added touches of cornflower blue for a soft pop of color. I originally planned to do all white but decided to bring in a little personality while still keeping it neutral and classy.

Which vendors really exceeded your expectations?
Our DJ really exceeded our expectations. We’ve been to lots of events where things die down quickly and, if we’re honest, just aren’t fun because of a bad DJ. Our DJ kept the dance floor alive all night long—literally from the moment it opened to the minute the venue shut it down.
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
We live in such a beautiful city with so many options. Please remember that your day is your own. There is so much comparison in today’s wedding industry with unrealistic standards. As long as your wedding day represents and honors who you both are as a couple, that is all that matters. And have fun while you’re doing it!
