The change of seasons and weather in Florida is rare, which is why bright colors and beautiful outdoor weddings are often on rotation in the Sunshine State. St. Petersburg wedding photographer Jen Garrett of Aggie Photography curated an inspired wedding shoot to bring together trending and creative wedding ideas, including a classic favorite of ours, incorporating succulents into floral bouquets and centerpieces.
“This shoot was inspired by bright, beautiful florals, green succulents, and a stunning naked cake in the the warm Florida sun. I loved the combination of summer and spring florals tied in with a bit of a vintage bohemian feel,” Jen shared.
Desiring a light and airy feel throughout the shoot, the photographer chose an intimate and relaxed location that perfected the romantic and dreamy feel she was going for.
“Lake Maggiore Park has been a place of several restful moments for me, and one of my favorite spots has always been this gorgeous Banyan Tree. I knew I had to have it as the back drop for this wedding,” the photographer gushed.
Inspired by the natural surroundings and allowing the florals to take center stage, the vibrant floral bouquets and flower crowns from St. Pete wedding florist Cotton & Magnolia brought the ethereal look together.
“St. Pete is a very big on supporting local artists, so part of the motivation to even have this shoot was to collaborate with upcoming and established St. Pete wedding vendors,” Jen shared. “Our amazing team went above and beyond and made the vision for this wedding shoot come true!”
