Jade, Clearwater Beach Wedding | Caroline & Evan Photography
Natalie and Mario's nautical themed details added the perfect accents for their Clearwater Beach wedding. Their rooftop wedding ceremony gave guests a magical, ocean view.
“Gazing into the sunset on the horizon was like embracing eternity with my husband,” the bride gushed. “When choosing a location, I never questioned my hometown. Having our wedding, especially the ceremony, near the water would be most meaningful.”
The bride chose jade for their wedding color; this created a bright pop of color against her lace wedding dress. The groomsmen's colorful ties were also a great juxtaposition against their sleek, grey suits.
“Our wedding color was a great fall color, but I believe I chose it unknowingly because it reminds me of the color of the Gulf of Mexico,” Natalie shared.
With both the bride and groom both having background in design, wedding photography was a top priority on their big day.
“We placed importance on the artistic nature of the photographers’ work,” the bride explained. “We not only loved Caroline & Evan Photography's portfolio, it includes everything from dramatic, to whimsical, to abstract, we clicked with the photographers instantly, which helped us to be ourselves in the photos.”

What did you look for in a wedding hair and makeup artist?
If they can champion my sunspots all over my face – they will win my heart! I'm less uptight about my hair. I like having a relaxed, romantic look for my hair.
I recently stood in a friend’s wedding who had Michele Renee The Studio as the hair and makeup artists. They made a great impression, arriving in uniform and overly supplied and they made my makeup look amazing!

Mint and Peach Clearwater Beach Destination Wedding | Ailyn La Torre Photography
Lisette and Ronnie's destination Clearwater Beach wedding incorporated the groom's childhood vacation spot. The Chicago couple exchanged their vows underneath a bamboo altar on the beaches of Sand Key.
“The ceremony was most important. I was happy with the set up and it turned out beautifully,” the bride gushed.
The bride was stunning in her strapless, ivory wedding gown and mint colored wedding shoes. Her bridesmaids wore tea-length bridesmaids dresses, accented by beaded foot jewelry, a popular beach wedding trend.
The couple continued their Clearwater wedding day at a nearby restaurant. The table decor was delicate and simple, consisting of glass chargers, vases and small bouquets of purple and coral flowers.

Clearwater Beach Wedding | Hilton Clearwater Beach
Savanna and Neil's love story started at Clearwater Beach, so choosing a location for their Tampa Bay wedding was an easy decision.
“Before we started dating, Neil and I used to go to Clearwater Beach together all of the time as friends. Once we started dating and even now that we are married, nothing has changed; Clearwater Beach is our spot. It is where we go to relax and reconnect to each other,” the bride shared.
Privacy, which is often rare for a beach wedding, was important to the couple.
“When we walked out on to the deck at the Hilton Clearwater Beach, it was just absolutely perfect. My husband and I looked at each other and just knew. It was the equivalent of an outdoor, beachside ballroom. We were able to get married with our feet in the sand, and then our guests took a few steps to start the cocktail hour.”

With both Savanna and Neil being “old souls,” a vintage and timeless wedding themed fit perfectly. Their wedding colors of wine and champagne, an ode to Neil's hot air balloon proposal in Napa Valley, incorporated well with their overall aesthetic.
The couple even got to spend some time alone on the beach to watch the sunset, before joining guests at outdoor wedding reception, which featured wine labeled table numbers and white floral centerpieces.
What did you look for in a wedding venue?
We wanted something that was on the beach and that offered a little privacy. We had looked at maybe 8 venues. We were torn between the Florida Keys, Clearwater Beach and Palm Island.
When we walked out on to the deck at the Hilton Clearwater Beach, it was just absolutely perfect. My husband and I looked at each other and just knew. It was the equivalent of an outdoor, beachside ballroom. We were able to get married with our feet in the sand, and then our guests took a few steps to start the cocktail hour. The service was impeccable. We were assigned a server that helped us throughout the entire day; she was amazing down to the very last minute.
What did you look for in a wedding DJ?
Music was the most important part of our wedding. The first thing we started planning was the music. Our music told a story; it took you on a journey through our lives. Still to this day we can hear a song we had during our ceremony or reception and it brings us back to that place and time.
Jeff of Boone's Professional Events was amazing to work with. It was clear from our first conversation, Jeff listened to everything we wanted and were going for. He was clear on our vision and bought into it. Not only did he listen, he guided us when we were a little off track.
